Ryan Huggins: Morton's never fails to impress!I ate at this location during a business trip to Sacramento and it was fantastic. The bread was a large Kaiser roll which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.I had their wedge salad and the Filet Mignon and wow. Just wow. I get my steaks well done and this one just melted in my mouth it was that tender and juicy. They really know their way around steak! The wedge salad was the largest I've ever seen! Normally at steak houses, a wedge is a quarter head of lettuce. Here, it was a half head.Carlos was my waiter and took great care of me. He gave me great advice and helped me to avoid ordering too much and my water glass never ran dry.Now for the area. Morton's is situated on The Capitol Mall, which is a nice location. Parking around there can be a bit difficult and I ended up having to park two blocks over due to the one way streets. Thankfully, they do have valet parking there for next time. It is a short walk from the Golden 1 center, and about a seven minute walk from the Convention Center. Easily walkable in the day. At night, I would drive as the area around Morton's is nice, but once you get a few blocks up towards L Street and 10th, there is a noticeable increase in vagrants and others. Walking in a group is good, but I would not recommend it if you are solo.

Ashley Bennett: What an unforgettable evening! Despite the rocky start elsewhere, Morton's truly saved the day and made our 19th anniversary celebration absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt like royalty thanks to the warm welcome from the hostess and the personalized touches that adorned our table. Our server went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Not only did he deliver impeccable service, but he also took the time to empathize with our previous frustrations and ensure that we felt valued and appreciated. As for the food, it was a symphony of flavors and indulgence, with each dish, from the mouthwatering Tomahawk steak to the decadent lobster mac and cheese, surpassing our expectations. The complimentary champagne and key lime pie were the cherry on top of an already perfect evening. Morton's, thank you for turning what could have been a disastrous night into an unforgettable celebration. We wholeheartedly recommend Morton's to anyone seeking a truly special dining experience. Alisa Takeuchi: A bit disappointed the atmosphere of this brand has changed. There used to be high standards and a dress code and all of that was part of the experience. You pay a lot of money and there is an expectation that it is a special occasion and fancy. Unfortunately, there were patrons in shorts, t-shirts, a body suit with daisy Duke shorts which was completely inappropriate and no one said a thing. It actually lessened our experience. The food is what it is. It's nothing special that other restaurants offer, but when you say you're going to Ruth's Chris, there's should be something special. They've lowered the standards and so I don't think we'll be back.
Tim Castleman: First time to visit Ruth's Chris we ordered the Porterhouse for two, Sweet Potato Casserole and Asparagus sides. By the time we had been seated and bread was on the table no less than three people had attended us and the service continued through the meal. The beef was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the sweet potato casserole doubled as a side AND desert. The asparagus was good enough that we wished there had been more! The ambiance was pleasant and not noisy. The overall experience proves the adage, you get what you pay for and we took a large portion of beef home. Be advised parking may be hard to find, we ended up on the west side in the Fidelty parking lot.

Ernest Lopez: Today was special, I got to experience this restaurant with my lovely Wife. This was our very first time. We were celebrating Life. Being fortunate enough to be able to enjoy a place like this for no specific reason. Our server Was absolutely a real joy to be with. Her level of hospitality and expertise was remarkable. She probably didn’t need a menu to describe all items. Diana was just awesome!!! The food was great!! Atmosphere was quiet when we arrived and a bit louder as we left but that’s ok. It’s a very nice place to enjoy special occasions……
Christy Taylor: Ruth's Chris happy hour is the best! It takes place from 4:00 to 6:00 and has the most delicious, affordably priced, filling entrees! Their steak sandwich is heaven with garlic bread, tender slices of filet, mignon, and a delicious Bearnaise sauce and is served with a cup of fries. Their cheesecake is a simple, dense, flavorful cheesecake with sour cream layer on top. It doesn't need any frills or gimmicks and is served with seasonal berries on the side.

Peter McKenzie: Frank is an Excellent server! He's friendly, knowledgeable & professional while also being laid back. I sat outside on a beautiful sunny day & enjoyed a cold beer & demi glaze red potatoes. Both recommended by Frank. The patio is nice because you look out at people walking by on David Stearn Ave with the impressive Golden One Center in the background. Frank & I discussed the NBA playoffs as well as life in general. I'll be back soon. Thanks again Frank!
Belle Deen: my sweetheart took me here to celebrate my birthday early and have a little date night. we were both echo and rig virgins but the owner/manager Michael made sure to pop our cherry 🍒 quite well 😏.the ambiance, food, and wait staff was amazing. we lost our minds as we started off with the portobello fries and herb aioli... it was a fabulous appetizer! the sparkling water was wonderful too... i added lemon 🍋 and lime to mine and felt like i had my favourite Pellegrino in my glass...Anthony, our server kindly offered us champagne 🥂🍾 to celebrate my birthday but my sweetheart drank them both because i am allergic to alcohol 😔 he said it was divine and he also had a mixed drink later in our visit and he loved it too... it smelled quite yummylicious... it was called "Purple Rain".i rather enjoyed my lollipop kale salad with added steak and he loved his ribeye... the broccolini that came with his steak was fabulous and had a spicy lil kick to it😁we were really enjoying our dinner and time together, but realized we had been there past our parking time limit from a parking lot a few blocks away so we asked for the tab and were surprised by Anthony with a candlelit dessert for my birthday. it was quite delicious but i was not fond of the cornbread-like shortbread that was in the dessert... do not get it twisted, i was truly grateful and appreciative for it and the fresh berries, ice cream, and whipped cream were incredible... i just couldn't handle the taste of the shortbread...we absolutely loved our date night and birthday celebration at echo and rig...well done Michael... all you promised was fulfilled... that'll do 😁i would definitely recommend this fine establishment for a date night and/or birthday celebration!prices are quite reasonable for the flavourful and delicious food as well as ambiance... i hope you will enjoy your visit to echo and rig as much as we did!bon appétit!
norma cachu: My husband and I went to have our anniversary dinner..and we where welcomed by the most wonderful hostess beautiful smile..when seated our waiter Anthony greeted us and extremely professional and wonderful smile started our dinner with Caesar salad super delicious! We both had garlic mashed potatoes and the Spencer stakes a must if you do dine in for dinner the manager Eric greeted us at our table..we loved the champagne and dessert.Too all the top excellent chefs my husband and I appreciate and truly enjoyed the delicious food!!.We definitely will return and send our family and friends to enjoy the experience of fantastic service.
