Students have one weekly group rehearsal where they learn to play classic rock songs that have been simplified for beginner musicians. Some of his biggest influences are Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana and Ronnie Montrose. He currently fronts the award-winning blues/rock band The Zach Waters Band, and has been seen on stages with internationally successful acts all across the Pacific Northwest. He is a guitar teacher, bass guitar teacher, drum teacher and piano teacher at School of Rock Roseville.

We are very excited to offer bands for students! Bands meet once a week for 60 mins and are run by a Spotlight instructor. Students will learn songs and the ins and outs of playing with other people as they practice to perform at recitals and gigs throughout the year. Students are placed in bands based on skill level and age!

We have an amazing teacher named Debbie Ikeda who is offering tutoring services through Spotlight! She is fully credentialed with a teaching degree and has 10 years of classroom experience. She is currently offering Math and Reading/Writing tutoring for grades K-5th.

We can start kids as young as 4 years old with our preschool program. The preschool program is 20 mins long once a week and focuses on getting a head start with music basics such as counting, rhythm, note recognition and more! Our goal is to have students start official lessons when they are 5 years old with a HUGE head start musically!

We know that there are many options out there for learning an instrument and quite frankly that's awesome! We all share the same passion of music and we want to share it.
