4worldlovers: My team and I were thoroughly impressed with CoBiz! Very comfortable and space for my our team of 10 to spend the day working from. We rented a conference room and some of the smaller breakout rooms and were pleased that everything IT-related worked seamlessly. The staff was super helpful and friendly and the space was extremely clean, it's clear that a lot of care and love has gone into this workspace. Bonus points for the relaxation space on the top floor with hammocks and bean bags, nice touch. Overall, a great place to work either individually or with your team, we'll be back for sure!

This is a wonderful space with many spaces for working including the kitchenette and a green room (for relaxation). Creators of the space are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended! I will be back as long as I stay around the area.

Great shared workspace. Management is conscientious and supportive. Space is safe, clean, and spacious. Our workgroup is happy to call COBIZ home.

Recently, AT&T equipment issues disrupted my internet service - not great for a full-time WFH professional. I ended up on a five-week survey tour of East Bay cafes, libraries, and co-working spaces. Even including cafes I enjoy on my personal time, I didn't find anywhere I wanted to spend a second workday. Until I found CoBiz, and here's why.

1) Welcoming and approachable people. Caleb does excellent orientation tours and day-to-day care for the space and its visitors, and it's so nice to see his smiling face when I walk in. On my first day, Wesley (the CEO) came over to introduce himself and see how I was settling in - I've never had that happen at another business. I've even had friendly little chats with other patrons about their work or small businesses. At most other places, I didn't speak to a soul all day unless I needed to share their power outlet.

2) Gorgeous and thoughtful design. Tables have built-in outlets; different furniture configurations allow for working, taking breaks, and making connections; and acoustic panels line the super-high ceilings so that conversations don't echo. Plus the not-so-secret chill zone is a delight.

3) Top-notch amenities. Good coffee options in a spacious kitchenette; appealing snacks in a vending machine that looks like a stylish sideboard; reliable wifi, and seamless printing (it's a little slow because it's processed through a third-party web service - so a good time to stretch my legs). There are several offerings (that I haven't used) for small businesses and creatives: meeting rooms, private offices, editing bays, etc. Controlled building access via an app you set up when you purchase a membership or passes. The only thing I'd love to see added is a few more soundproof phone call booths. There's only one, so it feels selfish to monopolize it for long work zoom calls and I just use headphones/speak softly in the main space.

4) Very reasonably priced, with multiple flexible access tiers. I am employed by a public institution, so I don't get reimbursed for any WFH expenses, much less co-working space expenses. CoBiz works for my out-of-pocket budget!

5) Saving the best for last... Their marketing focuses on community building/ empowerment in *general*, which they absolutely succeed at. But where CoBiz knocks it out of the park is its vibe of community building/ empowerment for Black and non-Black folks of color in *particular*, a vibe that feels organic but we know requires attentive cultivation. Anyone in the BIPOC community who feels primed to do their best work when they enter a room of people who look like them, who have purpose aligned with them even if their goals are different -- would thrive here as I, a South Asian woman, feel I do.

This is way too long now, so I'll end with this: my home internet service was restored a few weeks ago. But I still head to CoBiz a few times a month, because it makes me feel like I belong. Thank you CoBiz team for bringing this place and its 24/7 good energy to this part of the Bay!

CoBiz is our favorite production space for photography and filming! It's beautiful, clean, with movable furniture for the perfect set-up. And all the staff make you feel welcomed the entire time.

A few team members from across the North/East Bay met up here for a co-working day recently. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend the space to others. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Extremely convenient location. We'll be back soon!
