4worldlovers: Do you want to dive deep with classes specifically tailored for the beginner capoeirista? This is a 5-class series, starting the first Tuesday of every other month. Our 2023 Beginner Series will be held in Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, and Nov.


Our instructors will teach you the basic movements, introduce the music, traditions, and culture of this Afro-Brazilian art form. There’s no special ability required to participate. After you complete the series, you will have the tools to join our Foundations Class or All-levels class.

We, at Capoeira Brasil East Bay, believe that Capoeira can change lives, and give both physically and spiritually to its practitioners. We are here to create community, and help strengthen the individual holistically.

Come learn the fundamentals of ABADÁ-Capoeira in our weekly basics class. It’s the perfect place to start for beginners, as well as continuing students looking to review basic technique. Open to ages 13+. (Teens 13-19 always train for free.)

Help build your kids’ physical, artistic and social skills through Capoeira. Youth aged 5-12 from families unable to afford fees get free classes during the school-year session upon request.

First-time students can come and learn basic Capoeira techniques for free every first Tuesday of the month. Open to ages 13+ (Teens 13-19 train for free every day.)
