4worldlovers: Dr. Elias Wehbi is a pediatric urologist and an HS Assistant Clinical Professor. He has been with the UCI Urology team in Orange County, CA since July 2013, after completing fellowship training in pediatric urology.

Dr. Wehbi’s interests include urologic malignancies and genitourinary tumors, renal transplantation, complex reconstruction surgery, and minimally invasive treatment methods. While he was in Canada, Dr. Wehbi helped perform the first laparoendoscopic single site urologic surgeries for children. He has gone on to publish several publications in peer-reviewed journals and has given presentations and both national and international meetings.

Dr. Wehbi has an interest in international health as well, and has completed more than a dozen medical missions to Central America. This service has been recognized with patient care and humanitarian awards. Additionally, Dr. Wehbi speaks Arabic, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.

He is continuing his education by actively pursuing a Master’s degree in Biomedical and Translational Science at the University of California, Irvine.
