We are in the process of a new build and wanted to check out window options. We have been to Milgard, American Vision, and now Pella. Our experience with Darren, at Pella, was by far superior to the others. Not only were we treated well from the moment we walked in (even though we were late, insert face palm here), but Darren was incredibly knowledgeable. We came in with a list of questions and he answered almost all of them before we even had to ask. Also, we were incredibly impressed with the innovation of Pella's features that we did not see with the other manufacturers. Things like integrated screens that only appear when the window is open. Better hardware for the operation of the windows (not just handles) and color warranties. It is extremely important to us to avoid painted windows since inevitably they will chip, scratch, and fade. While these are not the cheapest windows, we were very happy with our experience and the products they offered, so we are moving forward to the next part of the process.

Our sales representative, Kim, was so positive, enthusiastic, and easy to work with. The installers were professional and did a good job, installing our doors and cleaning up after. Even following are installation, Kim and Pella I have been there to answer questions as needed. We love our Pella doors as they are the most beautiful doors we have ever owned!

This is a brand new store at the border of South Pasadena and Los Angeles. Pella has a nice design for windows and patio doors, especially for replacement windows. I consider Pella one of the gold standards in windows and wanted to see what the price differential is with other brands. There is impact-resistant windows for hurricane winds with projectile impact and nice glazed windows for private bathrooms. I'll probably go with double hung windows, as it allows both hot and cold air to circulate. The lead time is kind of long at 5 months from the factory, but that's all part of the planning process...
