Futures Academy and Fusion Academy were both founded by passionate educators in California with a vision that one-to-one teaching was the best way for students to learn.

In 2007, Fusion Education Group was founded with a vision to help change education through personalization. Later that year the first Fusion Academy campus was replicated and has now grown nationwide.

In 2020, Futures Academy joined Fusion Education Group, strengthening our nationwide network of schools.

Over the 2022-2023 school year, the Futures Academy campuses will change to Fusion Academy, still offering the same quality one-to-one education focused on supporting your student’s skills, interests, and learning preferences.

While campus names may be changing, our mission has not. We are guided by a fundamental belief in the immense potential within every person, and our mission is to help each student flourish – emotionally, socially, and academically – through positive, mentoring relationships and a personalized education experience. Our Open House last Saturday, October 28, was filled with powerful student and parent testimonies, along with all our faculty, staff, and parent volunteers that make our school so special. We hope the 350+ visitors experienced the sense of belonging that we strive to cultivate on campus. If you haven’t had a chance to visit yet, we hope we get to meet you soon!

As we enter November, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the many blessings in our lives, most notably our Maranatha community We look forward to the upcoming Giving Tuesday Campaign, where we can celebrate the ways in which God provides, and hear stories of thankfulness from our community. Over the weekend, seven Maranatha students participated in the Southern California Debate League’s Fallhambra novice and varsity debate competitions, joining nearly 200 students from 16 different high schools.

The MHS team included Coach Israel Kolade and debaters Shaurya Bhartia ‘25, Grace Jung ‘27, William Mo ‘26, Emmaline Pan ‘25, Max Romero ‘25, Iris Wu ‘25, and Taylor Yun ‘27.
