Pasadena music academy has very good teachers! My son was at another school and when we switched they said he has been learning at a lower capacity for quite some time! In addition they got him up to speed and he's learning quickly and excelling! In addition my other child broke his arm and they are soo sweet! They sent him a giftcard to watch a movie and popcorn with a personalized card. How thoughtful and caring! Thank you for being so awesome!


I have been going to Pasadena Music Academy for months, and Kathrin has been an outstanding voice teacher! She has helped me out with a number of songs and a wide range of genres. She's truly an expert and knows exactly how to get the correct notes and sounds out of singers. She always has a bright upbeat personality and is a joy to work with. I would definitely recommend sessions with Kathrin to my friends and anyone who wants to better their vocal abilities!


I only know about their drum class cause my son goes there weekly. The drummer instructor Dennis is very serious about what he does and I just love it. He is so kind and patient yet so professional. I confess I never thought my son would be invested in drums cause he doesn't like loud sounds from babyhood. But he is really cool laying drums and it actually sounds impressive when he plays for reals. I'm lucky he's my son's coach and so is the Academy. Keep up the hard work coach Godspeed

We have had only great experiences at PMA. My 9 year old daughter attends PMA for voice and guitar lessons. She loves it! Their method teaching keeps my daughter engaged (you know how fast kids get bored)! Not my daughter. In a very short amount of time she has come so far. And when she sings and plays the guitar at home, I am astounded at how fast she is learning. They are great for kids and adults. They are professional, personable and engaging.

Hollywood Arts Academy( Previous known as Lee Music School ) was founded in 2009 by instructor Donna Lee. We provide fun and engaging private music lessons for kids and adults from beginner to advanced levels at our Pasadena studio. Our teachers use different teaching styles based on the individual needs to help students achieve their full potential in their desired instrument. Students can pick any style to continue with. Whether students want to play for fun and learn pieces or prepare for regional examinations, we are there for them. Our teachers will help you with your goals. Our first step is to help the students understand musical theory for any particular instrument to master from the basics. Based on the level, students progress through sight reading, musicianship, solfege and ear training. To help students gain confidence in the pieces they play, we host annual recital. All lessons are billed on monthly basis. There’s no commitment for semesters. You can start/stop anytime you want. We only require 24 hours notice before the lesson to stop your lessons. Any credit will be refunded back. Parents have the option to pay from check, credit card, bank or cash. You can enroll in automatic payments as well to save time.

We provide complimentary gifts to students who practice and succeed well in lessons. This gives them extra motivation to perform well in their pieces.

We conduct annual recital in the month of Christmas to let students perform in front of other kids for exposure and to gain confidence in their abilities.

Hey there! I'm Morgan Jones, a faculty member at the LA College of Music and private piano teacher offering online lessons over Zoom.

Kids, adults and all experience levels are welcome. I work with total beginners, professionals and everything in between!

I got my start teaching in New York City public schools through the Morse Teaching Artist Fellowship at Juilliard, where I received a master's degree in music.

Some of my career highlights as a performer have included playing with Aretha Franklin, recording "High Hopes" with Panic! at the Disco, and performing on American Idol, the Voice and Glee and I'm currently serving as the music director and pianist for American Contemporary Ballet.
