My friend and I had a great time at Goat Yoga and cannot wait to do it again.

I often say, “I can’t live without a goat - I’ve tried”. My animal-loving papa made my pet goat wishes come true when he agreed to get me the baby goat I found in a horse trader ad. I named her “Siouxsie” … it was the eighties. I haven’t felt complete without a goat since.

In the nineties, I experienced yoga and transcendental meditation for the first time while backpacking thru Europe. Over the years, yoga has been a thing I do, to make me feel good . . . much like spending time with peace-loving animals.

On Earth Day 2017, two of my passions dovetailed into a dream come true when the first Hello Critter Goat Yoga Gathering took place (thanks to Hope Urban for organizing). Ever since then, my life has felt something like a magic yoga mat ride, complete with ups and downs; we goat with the flow.
