Our mission is to bring parents and birth workers together for community, education and joy, so that all stories and experiences can be revered. 4worldlovers: When the pandemic started in 2020, Sacred Births began offering online HypnoBirthing classes via Zoom. Moms-to-be may wish to still enjoy the convenience of virtual classes, as they eliminate the need for travel and can be conducted from long distances. Sacred Births has also returned to pre-pandemic protocol, offering in-person classes in Pasadena. These classes, both in-person and virtual, are private, with small groups occasionally available if the couples are willing to learn together.


Helen Citrin is a HypnoBirthing Certified Educator (HBCE), a Childbirth Educator, a Healing Touch Practitioner (HTP), and a retired Registered Nurse (RN)

She offers one-on-one HypnoBirthing classes with flexible scheduling. The classes can be tailored to address the specific needs of each couple.

Helen has dedicated her life to helping and healing others. She has been a registered nurse since 1987 and has learned much from the medical community. She has balanced this knowledge by educating herself in alternative and holistic healing. Her philosophy of gentle, natural healing led her to become a Healing Touch practitioner and, later, a childbirth educator.

Her HypnoBirthing classes focus on techniques used to help women achieve a natural, gentle birth. The classes also help women navigate the many choices they will face during their labor and delivery.

Helen is committed to empowering moms-to-be and their partners with the knowledge and the confidence they will need during the pregnancy, the labor, the birth, and the critical days and weeks afterwards.

One-on-one virtual preparation will give you confidence when you go into labor. You will understand hospital policies and procedures before labor begins.

As your educator, I’ll provide tips on how to get the birth you want in a hospital setting, which hospital protocols are actually necessary, and how, when & why to avoid the ones that aren’t. We’ll also get to know each other better so that I can best support your wishes and goals for birth.

“Education is the key to success” I originate from a beautiful vegetated country in the southern hemisphere of the globe, Peru, where I grew and endeavored a Bachelor’s degree in Education in the prestigious National University of Trujillo City. My passion is driven towards the care of others, specially of adorable new forms of life. That is the reason why I did my training to become a Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist (a.k.a Baby Nurse) and Infant Specialist in Los Angeles. Now armed with knowledge and experience, I work as a Postpartum Doula as well as a Newborn Care Specialist and Infant Specialist (a.k.a. Baby Nurse) in the greater Los Angeles CA area and available as your Traveling Baby Nurse, Newborn Adoption Doula or International Doula for Surrogacy.

I am a single mother of my one and only son and this journey has showed me that with lots of love, it will reap huge rewards for his whole life.


My passion are babies whether they follow a natural birth, by adoption or Surrogacy, and I love what I am doing with love and knowledge.
