Kids & Teens Medical Group is a general pediatrics practice that provides attentive and comprehensive care for infants, children, and teens at their Pasadena, California, office located on Sierra Madre Boulevard. The team of board-certified pediatricians takes an integrated approach to care, listening intently to parents and patients whether coming in for a well-child exam, sick visit, or after-hours care. The pediatricians specialize in diagnosing and treating common pediatric health conditions like asthma, autism, and allergies. Kids & Teens Medical Group offers appointments seven days a week, including extended evening hours through their telehealth service.

Janesri De Silva, MD, FAAP, is the Medical Director of Serendib Healthways and Kids & Teens Medical Group. She currently practices general pediatrics and adolescent medicine at the Kids & Teens Medical Group locations in Arcadia, La Cañada Flintridge, and Pasadena, California.


Dr. De Silva graduated from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and then went on to the American University of the Caribbean to complete her medical degree.

She completed part of her medical training at USC, Yale-affiliated hospitals, and other hospitals in Maryland and Chicago. She then completed a three-year pediatric residency at Kaiser Permanente, Sunset. While at Kaiser, she wrote a manual for pediatric interns on how to take care of patients.

After her residency, she did a fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in Adolescent Medicine and worked at the Los Angeles Free Clinic. At CHLA, Dr. De Silva worked on research involving transitioning chronically ill children to adult health care.

She was the 2014 to 2016 chair of the pediatric department at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Northridge and is on staff at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, Tarzana Medical Center, and Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California.

Dr. De Silva is a mother of two children and one dog. Outside of practicing medicine, she enjoys yoga, learning to play piano, and participating in ongoing education to prevent disease through physical fitness and nutrition.

Martin Fineberg, MD, FAAP, is a caring pediatrician who has been working in the San Fernando Valley since 1988. He is a member of the compassionate team at Kids & Teens Medical Group and sees patients in Agoura Hills, Beverly Hills, Encino, and Pasadena, California.

A native of Melbourne, Australia, he studied medicine at The University of Melbourne. He then trained in pediatrics at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, followed by a pediatric residency at Emory University in Atlanta. Following residency, he undertook additional training in neonatology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. In addition, Dr. Fineberg worked in the area of pediatric hematology/oncology at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, Australia.

Dr. Fineberg is licensed to practice medicine in California and Australia and was board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1985. He was re-certified in 2009 and is current with Maintenance of Certification with the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the California Medical Association and the American Medical Association, and an American Academy member of the Canadian Paediatric Society.

Dr. Fineberg has a special interest in the care of high-risk NICU graduates and children with pulmonary diseases. He is now available for well- and sick-child appointments in the Pasadena and Northridge offices of Kids & Teens Medical Group.

Adam Zisman, DO, FAAP, is a passionate pediatric physician at Kids & Teens Medical Group. He looks forward to providing the highest quality of care to children at the practice’s office locations in La Cañada Flintridge, Arcadia, and Pasadena, California. Dr. Zisman is originally from the Philadelphia area. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Psychology and a minor in French Studies. Following the completion of his undergraduate studies, Dr. Zisman earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. Dr. Zisman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is excited to now live in beautiful Southern California and work with the team at Kids & Teens Medical Group. In his free time, Dr. Zisman loves to go skiing, take long walks with his dog, Winston, and watch Jeopardy! whenever possible.
