4worldlovers: A brain tumor diagnosis can feel overwhelming. Whether you are on watch and wait (WW), planning surgery, or a survivor post-surgery, this condition can be extremely lonely. Although we have online groups available, having the opportunity to speak with someone who has been on the journey can bring you a sense of calm and clarity.
I'm a survivor. I managed six years on WW, countless contrast MRIs, a neurologist, four different neurosurgeons, and a craniotomy in December 2018. I've faced many difficult and triumphant days. I created Brain Tumor Companion (BTC) to be a safe place for you to get support and resources to assist you with the challenges and uncertainties of this diagnosis.
As a Patient Advocate and Director of Operations in the medical field, I understand the complexity of the healthcare system. Schedule time with me today if you feel I can be of help to you!
