Welcome to Carefree Boat Club! We’re a new alternative to buying or renting a boat in coastal Ventura County. With a membership to our exclusive club, you don’t have to worry about maintenance, trailering, moorage, usage fees, insurance, covering or even cleaning. You have unlimited access to our entire fleet of new boats.

With membership as little as 1/3 cost of owning a boat, you can cross these expenses off your list: boat purchase, slip fee, insurance, maintenance, repairs, taxes, towing and winterization.

Our staff will greet you at the dock with the keys to your freshly cleaned boat and will help you get your gear on board and cast off. When you return we will be there to help tie up the boat.

Channel Islands National Park – This group of islands is known as California’s Galapagos consists of 5 of the 8 Channel Islands of the coast.

Anacapa – At only 12 miles from the harbor this is a great island to start exploring archipelago.

4worldlovers: Paddling is an excellent cardio work out ,we paddle to the music, with three 20 seater Dragon Boat,we can accommodate 40 paddlers . We provide paddle and life jacket. Just bring water.

Take twenty paddlers sitting two abreast, someone standing and steering at the back of the boat, and a drummer sitting in the front of the boat keeping the paddlers' stroke pace. Put them all together in one large boat decorated like a dragon. Together, this group will do their best to propel their dragon boat along a fixed-distance course in the shortest amount of time. They will normally compete against 5 or 6 other teams of similar size in standard dragon boats to race distances of 100m, 200m, 500m or 2km. Dragon boat teams can be made up of just women, just men or both women and men. The key is to maximize the ability of the boat's crew to work together for a common goal. The key part of dragon boat racing is practice and repetition. Together. The better the crew paddles in unison, the faster the boat will go. Every part of the race is repeated at practice. The start. The middle. The end.


Give your group a unique team building activity on the water in the heart of Channel Island . Dragon boating is a great team building or customer appreciation activity. This one-time session is for groups or companies looking for a memorable activity on the water. Your group will benefit from the expertise of trained dragon boat instructors to help guide them through the basics of dragon boat paddling skills, and depending on group size, enjoy a mini-dragon boat race as well.

Just pay a one-time entry fee and select one of our membership plans. Your local Club will have a variety of plans to match your recreational boating needs.


Your safety is our No. 1 concern. So we give all our members unlimited training with certified captains. And if you wish to boat in a new location, they’ll show you the waterways.


Reserve a boat by phone or online. Then go fishing, tubing or head to a restaurant with friends. When you’re done, just bring the boat back and pay for the fuel. We take care of everything else!
