We came to Spirit Christian Academy during an unprecedented time in our child's public school education. The controversial policies and teachings were destroying our youngest son's kindergarten experience. As parents we have a duty and responsibility to teach up, so the child can rise up. Spirit Christian Academy has been the perfect partnership with our family. The teachers believe education is about forming the soul, and not just the skills. Spirit Christian Academy is more than a school. It’s a community of families and educators working together. At SCA, we believe education should be used as a vehicle to Godly character. Every teacher, parent, and student strives to give their best.

Students meet on campus 2-3 days a week for classroom instruction. On the other 2-3 days, students engage in learning and further study at home under the guidance of their parent who serves as a co-teacher.

Together they follow a teacher-generated lesson plan in a unique partnership that characterizes the UMS. Following the UMS schedule provides parents quality time to invest in the educational process of their children.

Throughout the school year, our elementary students build community within their classes and through various field trips, Read Across America Day and our after school programs, which include stay-and-plays and enrichment opportunities like archery, karate, and cooking.

The curriculum offers a full course of study including biblical studies, English and literature, foreign language, social studies, science, fine arts, computer science, math, student leadership, and a host of other electives. Most courses are A-G approved. Some advanced courses are also available through SCA's online learning partner.

We offer a full athletic program that includes baseball, boys/girls basketball, and boys/girls volleyball and more.

SCA has an active outdoor program that include trips throughout the year that help students encounter Jesus, build confidence, and connect as a community.

Throughout the year, our secondary students have opportunities to build community in their classes, at dances, serving on the ASB leadership and chapel teams, engaging in lunch time activities, and participating in field trips.

Our application is online for your convenience (application fee is $50). It helps us learn about your family, your student and a checklist of application elements.

We want to equip your student for future success by having your student’s current teacher complete an online Teacher Evaluation form.

We will call to schedule your interview & placement assessment. This will be a time to meet with Mr. David Seidman, our Head of School, to discuss the path we will take on our journey together.

Your family will be notified withing 7 days regarding acceptance. All materials and appointments must be completed before a decision can be made.
