4worldlovers: Stephanie Morgan started Seabirds as a food truck in 2010 to provide food that she herself wanted to eat. The menu was local, organic, scratch made, and free of junk. As Seabirds has grown from a food truck into three Southern California restaurant locations- Costa Mesa, Long Beach, and Los Feliz- the artisan approach remains true. We continue to make just about everything from scratch, we utilize local produce as the base of our menu, and use unique flavor combinations and creative techniques to make dishes that are delicious and satisfying. We pride ourselves in using top-notch ingredients and avoiding over-processed fake meat substitutes.

Our small, casual restaurant offers shabu-shabu (hot pot), ramen and pho noodle soup, and other traditional soups made with the highest quality farm-fresh and organic ingredients. Organic and halal meats, meats without added hormones or antibiotics, wild-caught seafood, five sauces—it's a hot pot experience unlike any other. We make our broths and sauces in-house. If we can make it fresh, we do! We also have bowls and wraps, poke, smoothies and boba, with many gluten-free and vegan options. We may be small, but we create big flavors with a level of quality that is hard to find anywhere else.

I love this place. It's my meeting place with my best friend every other Sunday night. The staff is amazing and the food is so delicious. This place is a must try!
