Best Laotian Restaurant Orange Near Me

4worldlovers: This place is probably the only authentically Laotian, or even markets itself as Laotian, or at least 20 miles around. Is you’re afraid of real “ethnic” flavorings or spice, start off at a Thai restaurant until you work up the courage.

If you’re not sure what to order, I definitely recommend their pad thai! The dish is on the sweeter side (the norm for this dish) but it’s soo good. The entree is very saucy and the portion is huge. The price is ridiculously reasonable for this dish. Another thing that I like about this location is that they have spicy chili flakes at each table and it’s my favorite thing to put on my order to make things extra spicy!

I’ve tried other dishes from this location as well such as the pad see ew, tom yum soup, papaya salad, and more… and honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them.

The interior is simple and the customer service is good! I really don’t have anything to complain about this place.

Really, just come here if you’re looking for some good Thai food!

I never knew this place existed until my friend took me for dinner! WHERE HAVE I BEEN?! It’s not your typical thai restaurant since it’s both Thai/Laos. My favorite dishes to order here is the Pad Thai, Pad See Eww, Spicy Clams and Yellow Curry. I have a low tolerance for spicy food so mild is already spicy to me haha. Everything is cooked to perfection here! There was never a time that I was disappointed. It tends to get busy during lunch hours on Weekends and dinner hours all 7 days a week. They also accepts credit cards here!

I absolutely love this restaurant! My boyfriend and I have been here twice since we moved to Orange County 1.5 months ago!

My boyfriend and I came here around lunch and it wasn’t too packed. We were greeted and seated immediately. I did some research and I decided to go with the crispy fried rice and my boyfriend got the larb. The crispy fried rice was absolutely delicious! The fried rice was extremely crispy! Although, I did get tired of chewing halfway towards my meal. The rice paired well with the vegetables and fermented pork. I love the contrast in every bite.

The second time around, my boyfriend and I went here for dinner and it was PACKED. We were lucky and was seated at the last vacant table. *Whew* This time I ordered the Kao Piak and it was sooooo hearty and flavorful. It’s very similar to the Vietnamese banh canh except the broth is a little thicker and they used chicken instead of pork. I LOVED IT. If you’re feeling under the weather, I definitely recommend this dish.

Result: This is definitely one of my favorite Lao restaurants! I’ll be back real soon!

My business is located right next to a Thai restaurant in Anaheim but I’m willing to drive to Westminster just to eat here for the authentic experience. Best Laotian/Thai food I’ve had in a very long time. Ordered the pad Thai, angel wings, larb minced beef salad, beef salad, tom yum soup, and combination fried rice. They’re were all very tasty especially the larb. They aren’t cheap with their portions either. To the cook and staff, thank you for the good food and service!

First time trying Laotian food (I think) and I loved it! It was kinda similar to Thai food with larb, papaya salad, noodles. Well, even the name of the restaurant has both Lao and Thai in it.

The three of us ordered the ground beef larb, lao sausage, crying tiger (grilled steak), and the famous crispy rice. The beef larb was good, but I would prefer it to be spicier (totally our fault because we requested for mild). The lao sausage and the crispy rice were surprisingly super good, even though I was skeptical about both of them in the beginning. For the crying tiger, just a precaution, the beef slices came in medium rare state which were totally fine by me, but my friends couldn’t eat the rare parts (more for me!!).

Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch here and would love to come back to try other dishes

My knowledge of Lao food is minimal…in fact, the only other time I’ve had Lao food is from my 2 Lao friends haha. There was a wait when we arrived. There’s a sign-in sheet by the cash register where the pork rinds and banana chips are. The wait actually wasn’t that bad – about 10-15 min.
