I have two of these sconces mounted to a white wall above a bar and they are beautifully modern. They are ceramic with a matte finish, so they feel much more substantial than anything made with plastic. Each are mounted close to the kitchen light so I did not want them to stand out, but instead blend into the wall and produce warm incandescent lighting. They do this perfectly, but still have a modern aesthetic. I like the way that the light shines up and down illuminating the entire space. And the clean line that is produced at the top and bottom when the light is on. Great purchase. I’m very happy!

We purchased the ADA version of this light for the Hallway in our San Francisco Victorian… We didn’t want it to stick out too far into the hallway, that’s why we got the narrower, ADA version – and we’re extremely happy with it. There is light coming out at the top and bottom, which really brightens up our hallway. We’re thinking about getting another one for our bathroom next!

We chose three of these sconces for our second floor hallway. They provide just enough light and have a very subtle style to them. If you want something that’s on the modern side but not too quirky, this is the way to go.
