Thank you for buying our Dri Splendor TM We hope these tips will help you have success with drying your florals Silica Gel is a desiccant, it removes water. There are many uses for Dri Splendor, and I will list some at the bottom of this letter.

You will have the most luck with your florals if you use fresh flowers, as fresh as possible.

· a container and tight-fitting lid or plastic wrap to seal the container

· a mask and rubber gloves. The mask is to prevent you from breathing in any dust.

Fill the container with ½ to 1 inch of Dri Splendor to form a base for the flowers, Place flowers face up in the base in the container. Be sure the petals do not touch.

Slowly pour the Dri Splendor into the flowers. Use a small, spouted container or spoon to control the pour. I use my fingers to gently separate the petals to get the Dri splendor deep into the flower. Cover the flower completely. Place the lid or plastic wrap over opening to seal.

The time to dry varies depending on the size of the flower and their moisture content. You will know the flower is dry when the petals are stiff and dry. Do not over dry or the flowers will become brittle and break easily. Gently test them.

Remove the flowers gently from the Dri splendor. Put your fingers under the flower and carefully lift it slowly tipping from side to side so the Dri Splendor can slide off and down into the container. Save the Dri Splendor, it can be used over and over.

We have replaced the moisture indicating blue silica get crystals with orange crystals. We put 10% orange crystals in with the white silica gel to act as a moisture indicator The yellow crystals will turn brown when they have absorbed all the moisture they can hold .The orange silica gel is nontoxic is more environmentally friendly . Please forgive our typo on the package saying the crystals are blue.

You can speed up drying your plants by using your Dri splendor in the microwave.
