Specializing in social, individualized and empathic care, we serve 135 participants daily—complementing the care received at home.


Our skilled Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) consists of: nursing department, medical director, social services department, physical therapist, occupation therapist, activity director, psychologist, registered dietitian, and a speech therapist. Our passionate team works to meet your individual plan of care. Our person-centered approach focuses on providing holistic care: mind, body, and spirit.

4worldlovers: The Foundation also operates Care Vans throughout the week, which provide door-to-door transportation to seniors in need.

In our Senior Day Care, we provide a safe and supportive environment in which older folks can socialize, get out of their homes, be safe, and engage in fun activities throughout the day.

We truly love working alongside senior citizens and helping to ensure that they are well taken care of.

Our Day Care Center is open not just to senior citizens, but to members of our community who may be struggling with memory loss or other disabilities.

Those aged 50 and older are eligible to come take computer and Internet classes from us in our Computer Center, where skilled instructors provide insight into some of the basics of personal computing.

By utilizing the services of volunteers, we are better able to reach out and touch lives in our community, providing local residents with the help they need to meet their health and aging challenges.

My mom, Yolanda, loves coming to the Club. She enjoys the other people, the staff and the activities. She told me “this is the best kept secret in Fallbrook! Everybody should know about it and what a gem of a place it is. I am going to tell everyone!"

4worldlovers: Our mission is to provide affordable and accessible adult day care and support services to families affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of memory impairment diseases. We do this by providing innovative adult day care programs, family support, case management, crisis intervention, family and community education, advocacy, information and referrals.

In keeping with our mission to help families affected by Alzheimer’s disease, our co-founder, Joy Glenner, wrote a book called, "When Your Loved One Has Dementia".

Our legacy begins with our founders, Dr. George G. Glenner and his wife Joy. Dr. Glenner, was a physician and Alzheimer’s researcher at the UCSD School of Medicine and worked tirelessly to better understand the pathology of the disease. He became world-renowned for his research and identification of the beta-amyloid protein. This protein is considered the hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease and has allowed researchers to make valuable inroads.

We are proud to share that to this day, the UCSD School of Medicine continues to honor the great work of Dr. Glenner by recognizing a graduating fourth-year UC San Diego medical student who demonstrates superior clinical skills, dedication to compassionate medical care and a commitment to study, apply and advance scientific knowledge – in short, the attributes of Dr. Glenner himself. The award is called The George G. Glenner Memorial Award and consists of a certificate, $1,000 in cash and inscription of the awardee’s name on a perpetual bronze plaque in the UC San Diego School of Medicine.*

While Dr. Glenner’s discoveries and explorations helped to advance our knowledge, the concern for the families affected by Alzheimer’s provided the poignant foundation for our centers. The Glenners were very concerned with the enormous stress the disease puts on caregivers. They saw the day-to-day struggles of families desperate for help.

In fact, the organization was born out of a heartfelt response made by the Glenners after receiving a late night call from a family caregiver struggling with his wife’s dementia. The pressures of caregiving had taken an emotional toll and this family caregiver wanted to end his wife’s life as well as his own. It was this experience that moved the Glenners to establish services for those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and their passion and determination to help these families is what defines us today.

October 24, 1982 – Dr. Glenner and Joy Glenner join President Reagan in the Oval Office as he signs the proclamation designating the week of Thanksgiving as National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Week. They became advocates for increasing national recognition of Alzheimer’s disease through a congressional bill that required 255 co-sponsors. Passage of this bill led to another bill the following year that designated the entire month of November as Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and led to a large increase in funding to the NIH for scientific research.
