October 28-29-30 was our big “Laurel Ace Grows UP” celebration – and we hope you enjoyed the three days of 101st birthday cupcakes, giveaways, demos, visits by community partners UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, the Women’s Cancer Research Center, Our Water Our World, and our Fall Pollinator Event featuring local beekeepers and honey sampling!

Please consider rounding-up your change through the end of the month as we “Round Up for Reading” in January. When you shop with us this month, we’ll ask if you want to round up your change to buy books for the Ace “Building Blocks of Literacy” program, giving free books to the patients and their siblings at Oakland Children’s Hospital. Those pennies do make a difference for the kids – thank you for helping us help our local CMN hospital!
