Our surfing lessons are taught in a perfect location in Seal Beach that allow us to teach even the youngest surfer in a safe environment.

It is Michael Pless Sr. and Michael Pless Jr’s. desire to pass on that that sense of wonder, the joy, and some of the spiritual aspects of “the sport of Hawaiian Kings.” Since 1995 they’ve been teaching and mentoring their surf school students from around the world at Seal Beach, California.

4worldlovers: Since 2010, One Wave Surf has been teaching private and group surf lessons in Manhattan Beach and the greater Los Angeles area for all ages and skill levels.

Our CPR-certified teachers are also WSL professional surfers who have an in-depth knowledge of the sport and a passion that they wish to share with you! Santa Monica Surf School offers the best group surfing lessons! You bring a towel and swimsuit, and we’ll take care of the rest. Enjoy learning how to surf alongside your friends – or make some new ones during the class! We also offer surf classes for corporate events and team-building activities.

Our kids surf camps teach young children and teens the basics of water safety and surfing skills. Our surf coaches are International Surfing Association (ISA) and CPR certified to ensure our child surf lessons are as safe as can be while having the most fun.

Santa Monica Surf School is a passion project of Nick Ostrogovich – a Santa Monica native and passionate surfer!
