So a friend recommended this company for my goat. We brought him the head, and a few days later I got the skull. He was super fast and was actually affordable compared to the very few taxidermist in this area. I was surprise how quickly he finished the skull, especially since I did a lot of research how long it takes to do it yourself. I considered burying the head and mastecation, but that would of took weeks or even months and be super smelly. I brought him some hides to work on, and again he gave us an affordable price. Defiantly will do buisness with him in the future, especially during fishing season next year.

Zane did an amazing job euro mounting a wild pig and mule deer I got in 2020. He is fair priced, honest and just an overall good guy with a lot of knowledge. He did such a great job I just dropped off my 2021 mule deer with full confidence that it will come out perfect.

After looking at his work, and talking to Zane, I entrusted him with a couple of Blacktail heads for Euro mounts. His work was completed unbelievably fast. Workmanship was superb with terrific pricing. I will be using South Coast Taxidermy again.

4worldlovers: All Deer or Elk taken out of state must have the antlers removed and all brain material removed. The complete spine also has to be removed. You will be citied if this is not done. Fish and Game also requires a proclamation be filled out and mailed in whenever you enter the state with any fish or game. A copy can be found on CDF&G website. Make sure all tags are properly filled out and attached properly.

Do NOT pick up any song bird or bird of prey. They are illegal to posses or to have mounted.

There are hunting seasons on most every animal that can be legally be hunted. Please know the regulations before you go hunting. Some species require tags some don’t. The opportunity to harvest another species while hunting can happen at any time. An example would be turkey hunting and you have a chance to take a fox or bobcat. Both have seasons and as of 2012 bobcats require a tag, so be prepared.
