Nghi Bui: Called twice trying to get some more info to enroll my kid, was told to leave a phone number so the instructor could call back to answer my questions. Never heard back .Guess I'll have to take my business somewhere else. I called this place first due to high ratings and it's the closest one to me.Edit: Finally got my kid enrolled, staff is nice when they actually remember yo call me back.

Father Daughter Power G: Mr Yee is an outstanding teacher of Taekwondo. Environment is positive, respectful, very nice. Students graduate at their own pace, advance based on their own effort, learn their individual effort work is what advances them. Life lessons are learned by students and parents open to learning and/or reinforcing wisdom. My daughter learns more than self defense.Classes are fun and fun to watch.I can't say enough good about him, Mrs. Yee, what they teach.They have been doing an outstanding job for years!By the way, advancement is based on the students mastery of techniques. Competing is not required for advancement.

Angelica Geronimo: We accidentally found this place and I’m so glad we did! We’ve been going since 2019, and our 3 kids have learned so much! The teachers are amazing- they are great with kids. With their teaching, they’ve advanced well, and they practice on me. They can all kick mommy’s behind now! Lol

Selia Perry: I have trained at UA for a while. The atmosphere is conducive to learning and I have always felt welcomed. if you're thinking of trying Jiu-jitsu, or are a seasoned practitioner, I highly recommend stopping by. There is a vast range of ages, body types, and belt levels to choose as a training partner. Every one of the coaches has their strengths,but they are ALL amazing! You will not regret coming in.
Christopher Fuller: Had a great time doing a drop in class. Class had warm, technique drilling, passing drills, and several rounds of rolling. Professors were both black belts and did a good job fine tuning and explaining the techniques during the drilling. Enjoyed the atmosphere as well!
Jordan Verma: Great place to train! Everyone there is like family and extremely welcoming. If you are thinking about trying Jiu Jitsu I would strongly recommend trying UA out!

Kelly King: about 9 months ago. Shun Shifu has taught him how to defend himself, how to show respect to others & be confident. Shun Shifu has patience & truly cares for each and everyone of his students. Just recently my son used his skills he learned in Sho Shu, was in a situation where he needed to fight back to protect himself from being bullied. He defended himself confidently. I chose this studio for their great reviews online, and they do deserve every single one of those rave reviews. Shun Shifu Cardona taught the children martial art techniques that are applicable to the real world of Self-Defense. He is teaching my little girl how to disarm and stop attackers--- protecting herself from unfortunate situations that we see happening on the streets every day. His charismatic personality and teaching style makes my daughter excited for his class.

Denae Lawrence: Red Dragon is an amazing place to be. Our youngest son, who is 6-years-old, was struggling. He needed an outlet for his anxiety and extra energy. Enter Shou Shu. I honestly am not sure where my husband found this place, but we are embracing it and never going back. His patience with explaining, modeling, practicing and then doing them all again is beyond comparison. I feel confident that my son is learning how to protect himself; and the lessons instilled within this are pure and true. My 11-year-old daughter and myself are planning on joining soon. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Destiny musino: My sons began training at Red Dragon a few months ago with shifu Cardona. They have loved every session so far! They look forward to learning new things and getting stripes on their belt. The shifu is patient and always makes sure they get the correct training. Each student learns at their own pace and he helps them as individuals to reach the next goal. The beginners classes are smaller and allow Shifu to give each student the attention they need. We are happy to have found Red Dragon and look forward to our kids future in Shou shu!
