I was in the MA program and completed it successfully. I was shocked when I found out I was to complete my extern at SUTTER HEALTH! I was beyond excited that SUTTER HEALTH accepted me. The excitement didn’t end there, I proceeded and also completed my externship with Sutter Health successfully!! Of course it took time and dedication. Nothing comes easy, but if you put in the effort and time it will all be worth it in the end. Do not get discouraged! Everything is possible IF YOU PUT IN THE WORK AND YOU HAVE A PASSION FOR IT! The instructors give you the tools, it’s up to you to decide what to do with them. They are not there to babysit you! You are grown adults! Anyways, I’m happy to say that after my externship two weeks passed and I received a call from the supervisor at Sutter Health offering me a position! I was in complete shock and couldn’t not believe it. They were really impressed with my work! I cried of excitement because I then knew all those late nights staying up finishing assignments ALL PAYED OFF! All my hard work payed off!!! I felt a relief. Put in the work and effort and watch the outcome! I’m proud to say I am Sutter Health healthcare worker that came from an amazing school!! Something that I kept in mind all throughout school and still to this day “DO IT FOR YOU” “DO IT BECAUSE YOU LOVE IT”

Sabrina Foster: here at IOT from their Professional Medical Assistant Program. I enjoyed my time here at IOT, and met some really amazing people along my journey through the program. One person who I owe a huge amount of gratitude and thanks to is Ms. Annette. If it was not for her persistence and her willingness to teach me everything that she could from what she has dealt with in her almost 20 years in this field and what she could teach me through the book and being hands on then I can assure you that I would not be where I am today. She is an amazing teacher with compassion and skill, she is kind and resilient, even when there are people who try to go against her. Because of her, my willingness to learn only grew more, I never missed a day of school and was always top of my class, now I’m proud to say that because of her teaching methods and skills I was able to graduate and receive a Presidents Award which was only given to two other students aside from me. This school is great when it comes to their teachers wanting to help you succeed but you have to want it just as bad. I would definitely recommend the PMA Program for anyone wanting to come to IOT! I learned a lot from this school and if my program had ran longer I’m sure I could have learned even more. My best learning experience by far was this school and I believe that what you learn in this program or any program really is worth the money you pay for it, especially if you have a great teacher like I had. I was blessed to not end up with a teacher who didn’t care what their students did.

sierra haddock: was incredibly helpful in all aspects and still keeps in touch with me making sure I am set. Her kind hearted attitude didn’t stop after leaving the program. She set me up for success along with the other staff here and continued to make sure I was okay. They helped me find the perfect extern site at the end of my program where I was hired as an MA at the end of my 160 hours based on my skills and knowledge I gained throughout the program. If you’re looking for an amazing school I recommend IOT and the night instructor
