nithin george: Exceptionally good, kitchen is run by two Mothers .The influence can be seen in the taste, it really felt homely. I had a meal and Chana Batura along with Dosa , the taste and portion was amazing. The cost is unbeatable. The sweets too are the best among what I had in USA. A must go place if you are around . I will go again for sure, even if I have to drive 45 min.Don’t expect too much spice or color , it’s like home cooked .

As authentic as you can get in Bay area !!Go here to try authentic Kerala dishes like Fish pollichathu, Crab masala, Chicken peralan, Beef Ularth, Appam, Parathas etc. Biryani was pretty good too.Parota was typical Malabar parota with layers are thin and crispy and melts in your mouth. The Chicken peralan was tender and very flavorful. Another noted thing is generous quantity.Restaurant is to go only. You have to order via phone since waiting time is 30 to 45 minutes. Little waiting time but worth to get the fresh food.I would definitely recommend Kovalam for tasty and fresh food. Coming here again!

Their food is amazing i went in today got fresh nann and 4 diffrent currys and they were all ammazzing! 10/10 for Indian food compared to anywhere else ive been! Anil Mehta: I chanced upon this Indian restaurant a few weeks ago while looking for Indian food near me when I was in the Modesto/Ceres area. I have to say that I was really impressed. The food was quite good and authentic, the service was quick and friendly, and the whole place was neat and clean. They also have a wide array of Indian sweets. I ordered some for home and we all really liked their sweets also. I was also quite happy to see that they have a well-stocked Indian grocery store as well, just adjoining the restaurant.
