The Society provides recreational programs including: adapted snow ski, water ski, bike camp, a Day on the Farm, bowling, soccer, and a special needs ball. We also operate the largest medical equipment loan closet within Northern California, loaning out walkers, wheelchairs, bedside commodes, and hospital beds for those in need.     Becky Friedrich: I don’t know how we would’ve gotten through the last 2 1/2 years without Carlos and our entire community. I lost my mom to Alzheimer’s 3-18-23.Carlos is a wealth of knowledge. He devotes so much time to educating people on the devastating umbrella of dementia. He also trains healthcare providers on how to be the most effective with their memory care patients.The support you receive and give to others is priceless. We felt completely alone when we started this journey with Mom. My dear friend and her mom introduced me to this support group, I will be forever grateful.

    Jan Davis: Always there to listen and make suggestions. Very informal group. Thanks for being there for me.

    Ken: I was at the end of my rope with my mom and her dementia. Everytime i reached out for help there was none. Until a friend told me about this place. Now i have the tools to help my mom. We are much happier and she can still live at home. I want to keep her home as long as i can. With these wonderful people and the support group. I know we can do it.Ken Resendez

    Natali Contreras: They have multiple opportunities available for young adults, I believe you need to be 18-24?. They will help you and guide you to be the best you, it all depends on how you take in the information and help they give. If you are ready to take that next step but don't know how ,do not hesitate and join the program, it takes time but at the end it's all worth it.

    Hunter Firth: As a teen with nothing going for themselves, this place changed me 100%. The staff are some of the greatest people/friends I know, and I'm happy to call them my second family.❤️ I highly recommend this place if you are a teen without an agenda for the adult world.

    TR Poppin: Was hired at the Vintage Fair Mall! I have a learning disability, can't read very well, and have always relied on Social Security Insurance for my entire life. They changed my life, as I always thought I'd be unemployed my whole life, but they found me a job that I love and I'm grateful! Would recommend for anyone that may doubt themselves to be capable of working, but that are looking for work and are serious about it. They're patient, understanding, and persistent on finding what works for you and I love it! I wasn't hired right away and actually didn't get hired the first time around, but they didn't give up on me. I rarely had any time left to participate in the program and struggled so much with working, as I never had worked before, but my youth advisor, Ariana 🙂 made sure that I left the program employed and I did my part to also ensure that I got hired!

    Chill “Ghøst KiDD” Bill: Love the people here, I was able to get a job through them a year and a half ago and I'm still with the same job now. Not only that but they also helped me with signing up for college, making my resume etcIf you're complaining about them not finding a job for you, then that's honestly on you.. They help guide us but they can't take every single step for us.
