Take this into consideration when reading reviews on hair transplant surgeries in general.Don't expect to have thick hair after the transplant. Doctors can only implant about 10-20% of the original thickness before hair loss.With those expectations, my transplant was a huge success. It took 2 surgeries, one with 3000 grafts and a second with 2000 grafts one year later. The after pictures are 9 months post the 2nd surgery.Dr. Meshkin and his staff are very professional, and I didn't feel as if I was being sold anything. It was my decision.The surgery is as comfortable as it can be.You are mostly knocked out for the day and semi-concious . The 72 hours post op were the most challenging.Don't be scared of taking a strip of hair. If you cut your sides with a 3 offset razor or greater, nobody can see the line on the sides and back of the head.Dr. Meshkin, Ana, and his staff were available 24x7 and really cared about me as a patient.I get compliments from family, friends, and co-workers that I look 10 years younger. My kids can no longer spot me in a crowd because of my big bald spot!Do something for yourself and get a hair transplant while you are young enough to enjoy it.
