Daniel Lutz: My fav Thai restaurant in LB. Panang curry is to die for

Angela Aubergine: Food: 5/5

Gina D: Just so solid every time. That’s it- it’s just SO delicious.

Anna Takahashi: Please try their crab cakes!!!! It is so good with their sauce!I always order that and the classic panang curry! I like soft tofu for protein but all their protein is delicious. My boyfriend always order their thai boat noodle. I did have a sip. It is very yummy with their flat noodles. I have yet to experience anything remotely bad there!

Travis Ray: This is my 3rd time and this place is absolutely incredible. Today we had curry soup, pad Thai, and boat noodle soup. Different from last time and still so good. Highly recommended.

Bahn Thai Long Beach: what do users think?

Sylas Semaia: the food is so good, and whenever me and my mom go here the service is awesomely nice. The food is also so good and fantastic, the first time I went here I was wowed by how it tasted.Recommended dishes Panang Curry …

Rosa Mendez: My brother and I went to this restaurant today to get takeout. My parents usually come to the Chinese food place next door, so we had seen this Thai place plenty of times. It was not busy when we got there. We were attended to right away and were told it would take 20 mins. The lady taking our order was very nice and offered us water while we waited. We went back to the car to wait and before the 20 mins were up the lady came outside to look for us. This was really great service and the food smelled great! The food itself was delicious! I got chicken pad se ew, chicken yellow curry, and fried calamari. Everything was great! I’ve gotten these dishes before at other Thai places and I feel like the food here was better. The portions were also good for the price. I will definitely come back here again.

Emily Martin: I got the yellow curry with chicken and steamed white rice. It was flavorful, delicious, and had plenty of servings that I had leftovers for the next day. Highly recommend this place.Parking: Plenty of parking!

Reina Rivas: Friendly environment & service. Ordered the Pad See Ew with beef, very flavorful! The plate is enough to serve two!

Elephant Thai Kitchen: what do users think?

okok okok: Thai tea

Anthony Catbagan: Don't let the outside appearance deceive you. This place has the best Thai food in Long Beach. If you're new to Thai food, then try their Pad See Eew. Their seasoned beef, couple with a fried egg on top will have you addicted. If you want to try unique Northern Thai dishes, I recommend getting the Kha Soi beef. Its a curry dish coupled with coconut milk for that creamy texture. The beefs texture is like stew, and the combination of flat noodles and crispy noodles give a variety of textures. You'll definitely have fun with its flavor and crunch.

N S: New update-Re-visited again and this restaurant never failed us.The food was yummy as usual. We ordered Golden Tofu, Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Mango with Sticky Rice, and Thai iced tea.The staff was courteous and friendly. Quick service. The ambiance was good, no complaints.Their portions are big, their billing is very reasonable. Returned home happy with our stomachs full and our pockets not bruised, lol. :

DavidCookLosAngeles (DCLA): A cool friendly little Thai restaurant near Long Beach Memorial Hospital! Had the Chicken Kad Kra Pow with rice! The food was savory and delicious and the service very friendly and fast!! Would def go again!!

Are Ee: Four and a half stars.Good food. Good variety of dishes to choose from. They had a little bit of Everything. Good prices for what you are getting.Small parking lot in back.Everything seemed clean. The service was really good.Definitely worth checking out if You are in the area.Parking: Small parking lot in the back

Thai District: what do users think?

Arun Madhavan: Great Thai restaurant with interesting decor. The Thai crispy rolls left a little to be desired, but that's probably because they weren't dripping in oil, so no complaints. I had the red curry - which is available vegetarian without fish sauce on request - and it was as good as at my favorite restaurant back home in Saint Paul, MN. I also had their house hot sake, which was certainly up to par.Service was a little slow, perhaps because we showed up a few minutes after they opened. Overall I'd highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Their curries can be made vegetarian on request, i.e. with no fish sauce or shrimp paste.

Rajwinder singh: Went to Thai district, party of 8 .Scott was the serverOrdederd Rainbow trout , braised lamb, fresh ginger , Tom yum soup, drunken noodle .Everything great infused with flavors .Best was Nam Kao Tod Salad, right spice level, subtle flavors of mint, peanut and lime.Scott our server was funny and lively . Unlike most other places he was very open to give his suggestions for our ordering.Would definitely go back.

M Lissy: Cool vibe, great food. Definitely recommend. Probably any dish is good here; we really liked the drunken noodles.

Brian Thomas: Ordered take out from here while I was in town for a conference. Website said food would be ready in 20 mins; when I got to the restaurant it was ready for me.Food was very good. Option to pick desired level of spice was appreciated. Would go back here.

Ralitsa Carter: , candles is well-picked areas, nice rich red colors. The service was fast and attentive, which is all you need to enjoy the evening. We started with Shishito peppers, which we love and order everyone possible. They had nice seasoning and flavor. A tad spicier than most places, but you’d expect that from a Thai restaurant, right? After that we had the pineapple and chicken fried rice and green Thai curry with fried tofu. My only harrumph is that you have to order your rice separately… Curry goes with rice in my experience. Anywho. We asked for the least spicy versions

Ashley Barnette: I had a great experience at Thai district restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I ordered the Panay curry and the drunken noodles, and both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The Panay curry had a rich coconut milk sauce with tender chicken and vegetables, and the drunken noodles had a spicy kick with plenty of basil and garlic. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai food. 4/5 stars.

Sandy “La Diabla” Sand: 😍😍

つっちーモフモフ: Cozy restaurant. This is one of my most favorite restaurants. Also, it is a restaurant that my food-picky-husband says, "YES."People working here are nice. Taste is very good.I love spicy stir-fried seafood, stir-fried rice, and orange chicken, which I ordered for "to go".I think the stir-fried rice is just what Japanese want. Orange chicken was still good the next day.The other day, I tried seafood soup and green curry for my dinner. Sea food soup is a bit sour and having a unique Thai food flavor. Clear taste, you can enjoy even if it gets cold. Green curry is a taste of coconut. Creamy and not spicy. They are good as well.I'd like to try every menus.I hope they get through this slump caused by the rising cost from the Ukraine-Russia war.

el Guerito #Ismael Perez: This is my thai place close to my to you! We're?? en long Beach te best thai food 👍

T Guz: I placed my order. Food took sometime to prepare. Wish since I was waiting I could have received a side salad or my Thai tea while waiting but “baby!” When I say it was worth the wait it was!!!!I ordered veggie egg rollsTom Ka shrimp soupThey gave me fixin’s which is super rare.

Brian Bermudez: Good service on point with orders

Vanessa Carolina Lopez: Excellent 💯

Lyanne Segura: Hands down the best Thai I’ve had in 20 years! Plan to make this a frequent spot. I highly recommend the steamed dumplings, coconut shrimp soup, pineapple fried rice and the mango sticky rice. Oh how I love mango sticky rice! Oh and the Thai tea was delicious and a good portion. Some places give too small of a cup. Not at Happy Thai. Just the right amount. Can’t wait to come back.

ant c: Great lil neighborhood Thai spot.....personally only issue : parking 🤣 -- but in Wrigley Village or any part of the ole LB, when's that never an issue 🤔 !!!!!!

Raphael Anthony: It is now a habit for me to enjoy the delicious dinner and sit at their bar afterwards to enjoy some specialty drinks. Great service, great food and enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommended!Parking: Parking fills up fast, which you can’t blame the restaurant for their good food and service.

Josephine Anderson: Food was absolutely perfect. I wouldn't change anything. A great place for vegans, vegetarians and carnivores. The Thai tea is an absolute must! It's shocking that is only $5...I had the avocado curry, it was a large portion and so creamy and tasty. We did the veggie dumplings and golden tofu appetizer which were also perfectly portioned to share and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for great Thai food!Vegetarian options: Tofu veggie dumplings soy nugget and more

Shubashree B: and the food and the service was the same. Enjoyed talking to the owner of the restaurant and would love to come here again.

Vignesh Muralidharan: This is THE best Thai restaurant I’ve been to, till date. Tried the following items:1. Tom Yum Soup2. Avocado Curry3. Yellow Curry4. Spicy Pad Thai5. Panvimarn Thai Cuisine: what do users think?

Edward Martinez: Awesome sauce and super stupendous

sothea sok: The foods and drinks are amazing. I had the espresso gelato martini and that was delicious. Their korean beef is also very delicious and their pork ribs with the sauce they provided. The blanket shrimp is also very good with the sweat chilli sauce that comes with it. The tom yum goong soup and papaya salad was also good. Overall everything we had ordered was very delicious. The only downside i would say is the price. Definitely a place to get your family or friends together so the bill can be split. If not, you can easily spend 50 dollars or more very easily.

Marz Elbanz: Love it here

Matthew Meader: Panvimarn is one of our go-to lunch spots. Food is consistently great. Amazing lunch specials.

S Zacarias: Food, Service, & Atmosphere 5 stars all around. Wait time was only like 15 minutes and host kept us updated throughout that wait time and even cleaned up the bar to have a beer meanwhile we wait. Between 6 of us we split 2 appetizers and 4 entrees portions were nice and shareable. If you wamt to add a kick ask for their fish sauce 🔥. Sake sampler with an Asahi was perfect to top it off. Definately recommend trying this place out the dishes were exceptional.

Robert Hill: Great food and drinks!

Aki Sushi Bar & Bai Plu Thai Restaurant: what do users think?

Numenorean Queen: I've been coming to this restaurant for a long time and they have NEVER disappointed. I love that I can have Sushi and a delicious Thai dish all in one visit. I recommend this place to all my loved ones, and i recommend that you give them a try. Enjoy! I've attached a picture of the Yellowtail Carpaccio from my last visit. Quality & Taste 10/10!

Nelson Castillo: Stumbled upon this gem in long beach now its our go-to for sushi. We eat at the sushi bar cause we love to watch them make the food and the tv is right there also. Such an amazing experience everytime. It think the guy that we always stay close to his name is alex. Hes the man, so on point with his skills and hes so easy to talk to, very knowledgeable all aspects which helps you decide what to eat. The popcorn lobster roll is my fav!!! Must try!

Elizabeth Frayre (Sra. Frayre): My best friend and I enjoyed a late lunch here. He's vegetarian and I'm not, but I do love seafood and I like tofu, too. He eats here often and suggested the spicy seafood soup, the pad Thai noodles with tofu and the yellow curry with tofu. We also ordered a side of brown rice. Everything we ordered was delicious!! I highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is casual and the servers are all very pleasant. I plan on taking my husband and my son next! They loved my leftovers and are looking forward to eating at the restaurant.Vegetarian options: They can make just about any dish vegetarian by making the protein seafood or tofu. That's what we did and all was delicious!

Sara Lawson: This place has excellent sushi and Thai food. I am rarely in Long Beach, and we visited on a whim when the place we had planned to go was too busy, but it was excellent all around. I highly recommend the food here. Also, definitely get the mochi ice cream!Parking: Very small parking lot.

Emilio Cruz: There were 10 people in our party. Service was great. The food was great and extensive, ranging from Japanese sushi to Thai soups. Presentations were beautiful. The fried Calamari rings were coated in a light tempura batter rather than the usual heavy coating one so often sees. The menu consisted of pages of photos of the offerings. The photos were accurate depictions of the actual dishes. The sushi rolls were done well and the sashimi was fresh. Well worth a visit.

Bai Plu Thai & Sushi Bar: what do users think?

John Bacarro: are all friendly, professional, and respectful of their customers. They are so willing to tailor the food-menu to my crazy plant-based diet, and the food is always healthy and delicious for me. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I look forward to my future visits at Bai Plu.

Wendy Benitez: We used to go to the other branch regularly, but haven't been in a while. We were in this part of town and stopped in for dinner. Cream cheese wontons.. nice to find on menu without crab, served with a sweet and sour sauce with a nice kick. Tamago sushi was typical. Pad see ew wasn't too spicy. We ordered with tofu which ha a peppery aftertaste. They have added a kitty robot that wanders around. It's cute.

Jennifer Ryan: but so worth it!!!!Umai ebi

gomarketingsuccess dotcom: These food were delicious:1. sushiFood tasted right, not salty and not too sweet1. pad see ew2. ban chanServices:Take care of us well so we will come back again when we crave for sushi and thai food same time but I'll make sure not to reorder those salty food again.

william fitzpatrick: My favorite Thai restaurant ever.Parking: GoodWheelchair accessibility: Has it

Rick Antillon DJ Philanthropist: It was my first time here, and I would have to say I’m very impressed by the customer service and the taste of the food. There was some discrepancy in my charges for the online order, but they were nice enough to make it up by giving me some extra food. I believe these days it’s rare to get that type of treatment so I will go back and support them on my next trip to California!

Chelsea Chamroeun: this is probably my favorite restaurant in long beach! i *rarely* go back to the same restaurant twice, but i've eaten here multiple times and am thinking ordering some now lol. best yellow curry and thai tea EVER! portion sizes are very generous. and almost everything can be made vegan – it's not common to see that on a menu! plus, the woman who owns it is an absolute sweetheart. i'm sure her husband is too but i've never met him haha

The Basil: what do users think?

Franklin CONNELLEY: Outstanding little owner operated Thai dining.Clean and calm environment with quality food and service.....this is not an Asian fast food joint. My initial review is from six + years ago - My family continue to order take out from Thai Basil at least once a month - New owners have continued to provide a superior level of quality fresh & service.- Highly reccomend.

Devesh Venkatesh: My go to place

Rodney S: , and chose pad thai. Being the national dish of Thailand, it's the de facto bar which all Thai restaurants can be judged by.Lunch Special Pad Thai-Tangy & bright, which good pad thai should be. The generous amount of food was pleasing to my tummy. I relished each forkful of noodles. The included vegetable egg roll was crunchy, whereas the salad was a typical iceberg lettuce salad. At $10.95, this meal was a bargain.Service was good. The food didn't take long, at all. Ample seating via booths & tables, The Basil shares a private parking lot, and is locate on the right of The Donut Place. With prices rising on just about everything, The Basil's $10.95 lunch specials are a sight for sore eyes & stomachs. I was thoroughly impressed by their pad thai, and am looking forward to frequenting the restaurant more, as Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines, and I always wonder why I don't partake of it more often? Knowing the $10.95 price may not last long, considering everything going on in the world, I plan on taking advantage of it often & again. Highly recommend!

Amber Pamber: We ordered the Tom Yum soup and BBQ Chicken as a pickup order. WOW. The soup was delicious and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. We'll be back.We keep coming back because the food is just that good and fairly priced.

R Fisher: Best Thai takeout or dine-in in Lakewood! We love all their curries.

Carlos Manalo: A truly fine dining experience. Service started great and was consistent throughout. Food was excellent all the way. Didn’t even have room for dessert. I’ll have to be back. Highly recommended!

Chiang Rai: what do users think?

Ben Jams: It gets busy quick and almost lived up to the hype. Steeet parking can be annoying and if youll probably have to wait for a bit before you're seated.Curry roti: Get. This was an absolutely great start to the meal and the curry was so bright and flavorful. All my taste buds activating and delivered with a delicious roti vessel. The roti was really oily but it didn't take away from the experience. However, after this amazing start, the bar may have been set way too high for the rest of the meal.Cal soy: Maybe. had really salty/umami flavors that overpowered all the other flavors. It felt a little more one dimensional than what I hoped for. I didn't finish this and took it home where I diluted the curry a little and that made it amazing again.Midnight chicken: Skip. The chicken itself was underwhelming and I felt like it could use more of a pop. The dipping sauce almost got it there but it just still missed the mark. Egg roll was unremarkable. Thai tea was a nice touch though and the sticky rice was not bad.Came right when it opened and it was filling up quick. You can tell this is one of the more popular places in town and that's exactly how we came across it as well. they do deserve the fame but because the reason I came here is because of it, it didn't live up to that hype. Unfortunately, with how busy they can get, Id continue exploring other Thai places before I return here.Food: 7/10Service: 7/10Atmosphere: 7/10Value: 6/10

Lisa C: Yummy. I will be back.

Teddy: 4 or 5 years ago. WORTH THE WAIT! And wait you will. The popularity has obviously bloomed since opening over a year ago. It's because the food is a huge step up from other restaurants of similar $$$ and cuisine, here in LB. No, in the state. Dare I say best outside of Bombay?Dunno, BUT, if you have the discerning pallet that appreciates the long simmer and Grandma's recipes learned at her apron strings, then LOVE and BLISS will fill your life. Get to this great Thai place & find your BLISS in every bite. As you get to about 1/3 of your plate it suddenly hits you, twice! First, you start to feel the LOVE chef imparts, and then the heat sets in, and you're Chang in icy glass meets its purpose in life; to provide JOY to us dumb earthlings. GASTRONOMIC PERFECTION!

Cai Quiambao: there are people already waiting outside. The food is very very tasty especially their yellow curry. The sweet sticky rice is packaged in a cute native mini-basket. I would have given more stars for service, but it takes awhile to get the servers attention, not their fault coz the place is simply packed like sardines

Lissa Newton: The Michelin guide doesn't lie. This is a terrific little unassuming spot off of Anaheim. Parking is a real problem here and always has been, even when this was two other Thai restaurants in the past. The wait can be very long and the establishment is very small. We came early and only waited for five minutes before being seated, so I suggest coming when they open. I only managed to snap pictures of the appetizers, but the Midnight Chicken was really good, as was the spicy Dry Khao Soi and curry. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Kimura W: New spot, absolutely loved it. Limited parking in the back, was able to snatch a spot, arrived about 11:30, and shortly after the place was packed with people waiting to be seated. The lunch spacial came with an eggroll, and Thai tea delicious. I had the pad see we flavor was just right. Portion size was perfect. Would love to do by again.

Andy: After a long drive to get there a waitress saw us and flipped the open sign to "closed" as we walked up to the door at 8:20pm.A nice guy working inside saw us standing outside and kindly let us in and seated us right away.Good food, took a little longer than expected to come out, and overall experience was good.

Jason Williams: Had a really excellent experience at Chiang Rai. Went for lunch on a Sunday and got lucky to get a table for 2 immediately -- it was very busy the entire time we were there. Ordered a few appetizers and two mains and everything we had was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the staff was quick and friendly. Pricing is slightly more than your run of the mill Thai restaurant but it most definitely worth it. This will be a regular return for me.
