Evettro is a glass art studio dedicated to the creation of leaded, stained, faceted and kilnformed glass. At Evettro, every residential and commercial project is designed and handmade completely in Southern California. Our experience allows us to make windows, sidelights, transoms, mirrors, skylights and room dividers. We work with architectural, art, beveled, clear, colored, dichroic, fusible, hand-blown, hand-rolled, iridized, opalescent, smooth, textured, transparent and translucent glasses and mirrors.
Based on the project, we use brass, copper foil, nickel, lead, reinforced lead and/or zinc came. We also combine techniques such as copper foiling, kilnforming, wiring, plating, glass painting, glass stamping, glass combing, jewelry making, as well as, glass faceting (beveling) and coldworking to achieve our customer’s requests.

Mario V.: . The beginner stained glass class was scheduled for 3 hours and we lasted exactly that. The class was small, it was just my girlfriend and I for ours. Val never rushed us and let work at our own pace while being attentive and very helpful. There were lots of steps but she explained everything so well and it made it simple.I believe she sells stained glass supplies too, my girlfriend took home a piece on the wall that one of Val’s students had made.I highly recommend taking a class here

The Observer: We live about an hour away, but stumbled upon a Groupon and we did a day trip up from San Diego. We took the Basic Stained Glass class. We had a great time. Learning about how to make stained glass is quite an experience and one that we won't soon forget. And at the end of it all, you get to walk away with your own creation. It is more of a complicated process than you might think, but she was so helpful at every step. The explanations were clear, and if you screwed up she was there to help you fix it and keep moving forward. All in all it was a really fun and informative experience, and the stained glass ornaments we made are hanging on our Christmas tree as I type this.
