Dan Moritz: The club meeting at the American Legion was great !! Fun time with club members, great food and dancing all on the water !! Can't wait for next month !!

Glenn Mundt: Balboa Ski Sports Club fits the bill for fun bus trips to Mammoth. They do two bus and two drive up trips a year. 40-60++ group. All the people are really nice and a fun group. Bus trips are in a nice comfortable chartered bus. They party on the way up and relax on the way back. They leave at 2pm Thursday from Huntington Beach and leave the Mammoth Mountain at 4pm which allows 3 days of skiing or riding. It’s really hassle free taking a trip with them. Much easier than driving yourself. I strongly suggest checking them out.

Maxine Hanlon: This is a very special group to share social activities, tennis, biking and skiing. The opportunity to go on trips and share the experience with others has not changed over the years. Balboa is the only Ski Club with 4 day bus trips to mammoth. A wonderful place to experience Sport activities but a greater place to find good friends.

Linda Morningstar: Varied and great ski trips but lots more even if you don't ski! A wonderful group of people who just seem to care. This is a fun group and I am so happy I joined! And the summer parties at the American Legion in Newport. you can't miss them! And so much more! Come join the fun!

,Terry King: Just returned from the club's December Drive-up Ski Trip to Mammoth and had a great time! The weather was gorgeous, sunny with NONE of that Mammoth wind! The snow was wonderful, hard pack with loose snow on top, 48 degrees, great coverage all over, perfect conditions!The only disappointment was that the full mountain was not open yet, they are opening the other 2 lodges after December 15. The condo wasvery comfortable, near the shuttle line, close enough to walk to restaurants but we cooked dinner on Friday and Saturday night. Small group of people, just 7, but what a nice group. Looking forward to Balboa's next trip January 18-21 with a bus!

Connie Peacock: We had a great meeting last night at our new monthly "home" - Muldoon's! The speaker from the Big Bear ski patrol was very informative and the raffle rocked some great prizes, like a Mammoth lift ticket, Oakley sunglasses, and a magnum of red wine!

JD Macken: Wow, the meeting I just went too was so much fun. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was down by the water and the food was amazing! Very organized and a great group of people! Can't wait to go on one of their ski trips!
