jesse diaz: best ties around southern california. on the east side most ties come from the desert and are dried up, from here they apparently come from around the urban areas, still straight and with creosote for easier work and a crisper result. friendly and very helpful owner and staff. ask for Martin, always willing to accommodate you and the criteria of the tie for which you are seeking. we drive over an hour to get there, which brings up two issues for us, [1] wish they were closer, and [2] closed later than 3pm. nevertheless, well worth strategizing the trips around socal traffic.
