I'm astonished at how much I've improved since my first session with a physical therapist. I couldn't do what I now regard as fairly simple balancing exercises, especially with eyes closed. One of the first things I noticed about my therapist was how friendly and polite and encouraging she was. She has a doctorate degree in physical therapy and I felt confident that she wouldn't recommend anything that might cause an injury. At each session I was given written instructions with photos of the exercises I was to do at home. I am happy to recommend this practice to anyone who needs physical rehabilitation.
