The trainers are very friendly and knowledgeable and the equipment is always in great order and accessible. Chuck Sobel and I train a couple days a week and he’s extremely knowledgeable of body mechanics and makes sure I lift properly without fear of injury. I’m in my 60s so I’m very conscious about choosing a trainer who’s priority is my health and avoiding injuries while focusing on building muscle and flexibility. My biggest past time is golf and while training with Chuck, I’ve seen major improvements in my balance and stability while club head speed has increased. Check it out! I’ve only been working with Amit for a few months and already I feel a huge improvement in my fitness. This is my first experience working with a trainer and I was nervous about it. But Amit immediately put me at ease with his warmth and professionalism. The workouts are challenging, but not intimidating, and the results are significant. My balance, strength, and even mood are improving; back and hip pain have disappeared. The gym itself is terrific. The trainers keep it neat and organized. The front wall is all glass and looks out to a beautiful park. I thought working out would be a chore, but with Amit it has become a highpoint in my life. Gaining strength feels amazing!

Tony Gutierrez: I started training here with my wife about 3 months ago. Dave, our trainer is amazing! He is a living vampire with at least 300...I mean 30+ years of experience and a great sense of humor. We go 3 times a week and find ourselves burning a few extra calories just from all the laughing we do. Obviously, you want to make sure you match well with your trainer, so I can only speak about Dave as well as Trey, the owner, who always stops to say hi and chat up a bit when he's around. Things are still very serious and Dave knows just about everything there is to know about bodies and fitness. His motto "Your pain is my pleasure", is very fitting, especially after leg day!Masks are optional. Dave wears a mask with us as is our preference, but not required. They paired me up with Amit, who ended up being the complete opposite of the trainer I’d had 10 years ago at another gym. Instead of just pushing me through a formulaic workout, while shouting encouragement in my ear, Amit spent the first meeting testing my ability and flexibility, or in my case lack of flexibility.Based on that he crafted an exercise program that worked within my physical limits and focused on improving my range of motion as well as building muscle and losing weight. I can’t recommend Amit and Park east Fitness highly enough!

David Leber: We love Park East Fitness! My fiancee and I started working here 6 months ago and we have seen incredible results from working with David McKeag, our trainer. He's incredibly knowledgeable, kind but unrelenting, and always cheerful. We highly recommend working out with him.The facilities at Park East are perfect for someone who wants a lot of flexibility in the types of exercises they want to do and a variety of weight options. Free weights go from 4 lbs up to 70 lbs and there are a variety of cable and squatting machines. The equipment is kept very tidy. During COVID, they took safety very seriously, with everyone either masking up or working outside. There's also great fans for airflow, for when you're really pushing yourself.My best gym experience for sure!

I have worked with Amit Shelat as my trainer since November 2019 and my experience both pre- and post-COVID has been consistently excellent. I am overweight and really felt the need to do something about it, but I had a lot of injuries to work around when I started, as well as stuff going on in my "headspace" that impacted my attempts to get fit. Amit immediately found ways to get me moving again that were doable for me, while gently but firmly challenging me out of my comfort zone. His support has gone beyond what I could have expected from a trainer and I have always felt that I could be honest with him about how my personal challenges impact my training, which has always resulted in consistently positive and proactive support from him. When we had to go to virtual training he found ways to use the limited equipment I had at my disposal to keep my training routine in place. I have gone from barely being able to do 10 squats to being able to do 3 sets of 20. Regarding the facility itself, I love the atmosphere at this small gym - it is apparent that a lot of the clientele and trainers have built positive relationships with each other and the vibe is very friendly and familial. I have never felt judged or out-of-place in the environment that the owner Trey and his staff have created, but instead warmly welcomed and encouraged to do all that I could to improve my health and mobility. I cannot recommend Park East Fitness enough!

Elizabeth Beatty: Clean. So clean. Spray down equipment and air filtration in everyroom.Trainers are efficient and so personable. I have had great results. Literally 20 min twice a week and I am feeling the best I have in over 5 years.Its a bit pricey but I figure I'm paying for efficiency, results, professionally educated and trained staff, extremely clean/safe environment, with low impact high quality machines.My chronic lower back pain is gone and I have beat a man at arm wrestling. Booyah. Also, I am not huge on cardio so I figured build muscle, increase metabolism, increase energy, now I'll work on cardio. I actually feel like I have energy to do it.

Eric Johnson: I love this place! They provide the most efficient workout devised by modern science. Slow moves with resistance carefully selected to thoroughly tire the major muscle groups at every level of muscle fiber type. This signals the body to grow more muscle. The workouts are so brief that your body has ample time to recover and grow lean muscle mass. They track your progress and adjust resistance for you so it's as easy as it can be. The facility is clean, state-of-the-art. The staff if wonderful, personable and supportive.

Dawn Del Orbe: Dustin is an absolute force! He's one of the most motivating and genuine people I've ever known. His classes are FUN, full of sweat, and positivity! Even on zoom, he comes through and makes you feel like he's right there with you and always seems to know when you need an extra push.He makes everyone feel welcome, and you can expect an amazing workout no matter what your level of dance/fitness.

Eve Tronson: If you looked up MOTIVATION in the dictionary, there should be a photo of Dustin. He has been my trainer for 9 months via ZOOM classes and I can say, without a doubt, he has changed my life for the better. His energy and empathy shine - he has a very special ability to connect with people and make you WANT to push yourself more - and I've never had one injury. Also, his German accent and attempts at American colloquialism are absolutely endearing!

It’s not easy to start a new routine but feeling his energy and positivity motivated me not just to get fit but to enjoy the workout and feel good about myself. He’s an amazing instructor. My take away after each work out is that it doesn’t end with each session. You have to carry with you your positive energy and hope that it helps you throughout your day or week.

It is not your typical fitness place, it is a community of people that care to see the progress not just make money and that distinguishes them from any other gym or fitness place I have ever been a part of. I love the freedom I have to ask questions, the support I receive when I feel I am falling off the wagon. Now I am even happier to say I have signed up my 72 year old mother with one of their personal trainers to get her health in shape. Really happy to be a part of this fitness family.

Danny Fenty: Going off first impressions this gym is elite, super clean, helpful staff, beautifully designed with ocean views, rooftop access, designated equipment areas, good and working equipment, they offer many amenities for the price which is expensive to begin with but if you’re serious about your fitness goals the added bonuses this gym offers are worth it. I came here as a visitor with a friend and I’m only basing my opinion off the first few days coming here, he’s gotten the membership I am undecided. So far my overall experience was good.

Amber-Grace Lopez: This gym is lively, people are extremely help. I was not a fan of gyms and was so nervous to go but needed a change in my life. When I got in Crystal, the owner, was extremely nice and funny and made me feel at ease. The trainers there help with your form, eating, and even mentality about yourself and how you view your life and habits. If you want to be a better you, I definitely recommend going here.

I never am bored and know that no matter what, it will be a terrific workout. The coaches take their time to show/explain and actually coach proper positioning, stature and muscle engagement. I feel like they are truly interested in me and my fitness journey.Alongside the MRT classes, they have Strength classes. The strength class is a limited amount of members and the coaches spend quality time with each attendee individually to ensure we are lifting/bending/pulling/pushing appropriately. I always have struggled with correct breathing and they continue to have patience as I get better and better with my workouts.I cannot recommend this gym enough! I am a woman over 40 and feel age creeping up slowly but surely. I sometimes feel I am the oldest person at this gym, but I never feel self conscious about my performance. - All because the coaches treat everyone equally and truly care about every single member. This is a fabulous gym and I am blessed to have found a place where I am comfortable and celebrated every time I come in.

They will make an effort to be personable with you and help you accomplish your fitness goals. All of your exercise regimen are written down for you to follow. You typically get a demonstration of the exercises from your coach first. Then they will watch you to make sure you're performing the correct movements. Sometimes even give you a little nudge to remind you to boost the intensity a little bit.I've been a long standing member and I've seen a-lot of changes with myself mentally and physically. This place is my safe haven and I look forward to coming in to crush my workouts daily. I've seen changes in my energy levels and my body is shaping up to how I want it to be. But I'm far from where I want to be and I know for certain that 4th Quarter Fitness will help me meet my goals.Member since: September 2014 - Present

The workouts are always progressing so you do not get bored. AND they have multiple social events throughout the year so you can find time to just relax and unwind with other gym members. James Elswick: Despite being a temporary location there's plenty of space and equipment even when it's somewhat busy. It seems like a pretty mellow crowd of club members, of all different stages of their fitness goals. I'd recommend it for anyone who's looking for a no nonsense gym membership that's pretty moderately priced.

They’ve got new equipment, the ceilings are high and exposed which makes it feel big, and staff is still just as great as ever.Giving it 4 stars mainly because there’s some equipment they never brought over and the bathroom is kind of awful. But other than that, so much better than what they used to have.
