LDW: I want to highlight 5+ Star “Vee Noch”, paint/color advisor at the Lakewood location for her professionalism, expertise, kindness and patience with helping my family select the paint colors for my mom’s house. We started down one path and my sisters were not satisfied with the exterior colors. I met with Vee once and went back and forth via email and several phone conversations, in which Vee always demonstrated the same positive energy, professionalism and kindness during every interaction. During our first meeting Vee completed a layout/collage of everything I emailed her and explained why she recommended certain colors for the style of the home. Bizarre Craig: Went in for an extension cord and was greeted as soon as I walked in. After a couple of minutes, I was asked if I needed help with anything and when I told him what I was looking for he walked me over to where they were and before walking away he said to let him know if I needed anything else.The store was brite, clean and well organized. When I went up to pay both he and the cashier asked again if I found what I needed or if they could do anything else for me. When she rung me up she said hold on, I think these are priced wrong, thinking I would have to pay more. It was the opposite, It was less.It's always great to find a place of business that you can trust today and they earned my trust and will recommend it to all that asks.

Exhausting.Anyhow---BILLINGS ACE HARDWARE on 2nd Street, LB is exactly what an Ace is supposed to be. Built on knowledge, family values, customer care and friendly well stocked diverse relaxed but very efficient atmosphere. It's how it was designed to be pleasant and full of possibilities and everything extra you didn't expect and always, always kind helpful staff..As an artist I rarely am looking for hardware for typical purposes and always looking for solutions to a Creative endeavor that isn't easy to describe but at BILLINGS Not one time has anyone in 16yrs EVER SAID TO ME you can't use this for that or , that's not what that's for or anything along the lines that would make anyone feel like they don't know what they want or need or came for.And I do. I only just came to buy it.So it's a refreshing experience evertime at Billings.what I don't need an education from a closed minded sales person. Like while entering the either of the other 2 aces in LB,My education and inventory of Art supplies in my 2000sf loft studio FILLED with hardware, equipment, machinery and tools isn't tattooed on my face but it shouldn't have to be. Bizarre Craig: This is probably one of the most helpful and friendly places I have shopped in a long time. It really does have one of those neighborhood shops where they are happy to help you, the way shop owners used to be long ago. Greeting you upon entry and if you have a question, they are quick in offering to help.However, with it being a neighborhood store, I'd like to see them install a bike rack outside. I rode my bike and had no place to lock it. I was allowed to take my bike in with me, but my rather large bike made it somewhat challenging to move around the store. One of the employees asked me what I needed then said he would get my items while I waited up front with my bike. They really know how to take care of the customer.I rarely, if ever give 5 stars but in my opinion they deserve it. From all the conversations, smiles and laughter I observed that day, I'd say this is their regular standard of care.
