Bogdan Gawronski: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes

manav bajaj: A 'must visit' of the city. Do see the planetarium shows too, they are very immersive and informative. The narrator presented well and had a great voice. I ended up seeing two shows: centered in the universe and the signs of life. Both were amazing.Visited on Weekend Price for adult entry Free …

Garrett Rogers: I had an amazing time at Griffith Observatory! Its appearance in "La La Land" added to the excitement. Despite the bustling crowds, the experience was incredibly fascinating. The observatory itself was filled with intriguing exhibits, and the view from there was absolutely stunning. The blend of education, entertainment, and a breathtaking panorama made it a truly awesome visit.

Simon Simonic: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry $6–10

Matt Fritz: had a great time checking out in Griffith Observatory however, I was unimpressed with the parking situation how they directed us halfway down the mountain, then noticed on our half mile walk up the mountain that they were letting cars park right in front of the observatory. That would’ve saved myself and three under five-year-old children quite the hike. However, I recommend seeing it for the sites especially if you’re on vacation.

Noah Schmitz: Very cool, would strongly recommend paying for one of the shows in the Planetarium, both the projected film and the simulated stars were stunning. There is free parking with a mile long trail up to the Observatory. Parking up at the Observatory was limited I would plan on the hike.

Robert Hofmann: Visited on Weekend Wait time 30–60 min Price for adult entry Free

R S: Visited on Weekday Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Not sure

Cristhian Villanueva Ninco: The best view of the city and the metropolitan area, the best time to go: at any time, I recommend after 5pm for sunset. The sunsets are like a movie, there are museums, there are free observatory areas in the city, the photos are very cool. Transportation is varied from buses to UBER. highly recommended. inevitable in the visit to LA.

Gary Bowie: very beautiful, beautiful view of los angeles! tried to find out if there are no events because you won't be able to drive up to the observatory or to the hollywood poster put on by hicking! 3.6 miles is a long way and it climbs a lot! at dusk it is very beautiful but plan a lot of time and a lot of traffic especially at the exit if the dusk arrives

Ming: When the door just opened, you can find a parking space at the top of the mountain. Pickup trucks need to look for a while, because the parking space is narrowBut not free, 10$ per hour

Christy M: Amazing Views and you get to visit inside for free.

Orange Coast College Planetarium: what do users think?

Georgina Euan: Attended the Skylark Lecture Series and the speakers are fantastic & informative. It's a great outlet for students who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math &/or medicine. They have films every Saturday and I strongly encourage local OC Community Members to experience the Planetarium at least once!

Daniel Lalonde: A fun place to bring kids

Eric “E-Rod” Rodriguez: Great experience! We really enjoyed Mesmerica by James Hood! Arrive early, and the best seats are right under the dome in the middle.

Alex: Fantastic experience! I'm looking forward to attending here more. But, what's with the chairs? To become fully immersed, one should be looking straight up in the theater. Instead, the chairs ensure that, in order to be seated properly and look up, you have to tilt your head all the way back, then roll your eyes all the way up - it's not a comfortable position to maintain for any amount of time, let alone a full hour. If you don't do this, then you're only looking forward and a bit up, roughly at the angle of watching a high-mounted TV at a sports bar.Thankfully, the groups on both sides of us didn't quite understand what they were signing up for and decided to depart about 1/2 way into the show. It allowed us to sort of spread out and "lay down", so that the back of our heads were on the seat bottom cushion. It's not the most comfortable way to sit, but it's the best way to experience this planetarium!

Jai Hudson: I mean they helped me see a comet that hasn't been here for 50,000 years. I can't be mad at them.

Helen Pauline: Mesmerica at the Planetarium

Rebecca M: A wonderful experience! Excellent customer service. We viewed a show, the narrator was awesome. They have a great selection of items at their gift shop and Paul Frank items. Would definitely recommend.
