She tested out the sax to make sure it was still working, as we as giving me 3 free reeds on the house! Phil Hong: . Based on a recommendation from my son's teacher, I tried Long Beach Woodwinds and they were awesome. Their repair price was significantly less and they turned around the repair in less than one day.Later I needed to repair my other son's clarinet. Some of the pads were not sealing and causing some notes to be unplayable. This was during marching band season so time was of the essence. They were able to fix all of the pads during the time it took us to get lunch across the street at the Long Beach Exchange.Long Beach Woodwinds is everything right about a customer-focused small business. They are knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and fast.

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable whether you're a pro or a student, plus they are easy going and genuinely care about your business. They have an amazing collection of instruments both used and new, a huge selection of accessories, and their repair facility is among the best in the business. I can't say enough good things about Rusty, Georgia, Bryan, and all the staff.

BILLY goes beyond just fixing your guitar by tweaking the entire instrument to perfection. The shop also has a nice collection of used classic guitars, bass and amps all very reasonable in price. WE will be back!

J F: I was recommended Beach Music by a couple of good friends and after being to quite a few guitar repair shops in Orange County I can say this is the best place to get repairs done. Billy knows his stuff when it comes to guitars, amps, and pedals. The price and turnover time is also top notch.
Jeff Helton: This is absolutely the BEST music shop in the southland. Period. Billy is amazing to work with and he makes my bass play like a dream. My bass gets a lot of abuse traveling from Colorado to Seal Beach and Billy quickly gets it dialed in for me every time. He takes the time to know what and how you play and gets you set up perfectly. Makes my home town tech look like a rookie! The store is an awesome place to hang out and try out some vintage instruments and just talk music. You have got to check this place out!
Kenny Wetzel: I've been a professional musician for 30 plus years and have never met a more kind, patient and knowledgable guitar expert than Billy at Beach Music. He's the real deal - he listens to what the customer wants, and then explains how he'll make that happen. And prices? Wow - lower than low for top of the line work. Billy really has that "old-school" attitude - meaning "what can I do to make this customer's guitar exactly the way he or she wants it?" Not only will I trust all of my guitar work to him, but I'm recommending him to all of my musician friends for set up and repair work.

Damian Valenzuela: came here to get my 1970's hiflier univox bass set up for a last minute gig the same day and my oh my what a miracle!!! 100% would recommend you come here for repairs/set Ups etc.I've been to various shops for set ups in Orange county and this one by far has to be the most affordable and BEST one yet. Loved it. This bass is now my favorite and main one to gig with, thanks a ton billy!!! Definatley coming back here for my other bass set ups.
John Williams: hidden gem - drove by here for years without noticing this out-of-the-way shop. needed a new case and sundries, and google machine said, "dude, do you even?" a small but well stocked venue with all the essentials, plus some nice used equipment at surprisingly reasonable prices. friendly service made the whole trip a delight.
