I also like how they have the surroundings of the truck all lit up, it’s bright at night. They are quick at serving, and you can get as much salsa and toppings as you’d like. Nancy Dandridge: I’ve been searching for the perfect mulita ever since my favorite restaurant in LA closed. At last I have found it at Tacomasa! And in my home town! Friendly and fast service. I love how all the employees seem to actually like each other. This is a very casual eatery for a quick lunch or takeout but worth the visit. The chicken in my mulita was tender and delicious.

Carlos Rios: The food was amazing. Had a carne and pastor taco and a cheese quesadilla. It came out to like $12. Good portions and prices. The place is clean!! Even the bathroom was kept in excellent condition.I like that they wear uniforms. Its equivalent quality to an in n out. Felt like they had their process dialed in.

The carne asada burrito is exceptional, and absolutely delicious and is what I order everytime despite carnitas burritos being my overall preference. The staff is friendly and the prices are right. Awesome burrito.

HLAR 86: One of my favorite Asada spots in Long Beach! Burritos are mostly all meat rather then full of beans or rice.. They're also very fast! It's very small though.. wouldn't want to eat there.. small and old.. only like 2 tables in there.. very good spot for great tasting on the go though!Parking: You have to park in the street.. they don't have a parking area due to the size of the business.

Nathan Vega: Time after time this place just hits the spot.if you want a burrito then this it the place.burritos are huge,it has a well balanced flavor and no shortage of meat and no excessive oil.Just ask for no salsa inside if you dont do spicy beforehand butwhen I crave a burrito I come here,even if I gotta park at the store down the street. Mitchell Jenkins: Really liked the food here, on par with the other couple really good Mexican restaurants in Long beach. They have daily specials which are very fairly priced. Really enjoyed the torta which was big enough to make two meals out of. Nice neighborhood vibe as well. Will definitely be going back to Great Mex. Oh let me not forget the customer service was great.

Meaghan Smith: We’ve been searching for a low-key solid Mexican restaurant for since our go-to spot closed last year. Happy to say we finally found it—Great Mex is perfect! We’ve been here about 8 times now and each time is a good experience. The food is flavorful and the portions are plentiful, and the prices are appropriate. The staff are wonderful. The restaurant itself is spotless. There’s limited indoor dining but plenty of room out in the covered patio area. Small parking lot but plenty of easy street parking.Vegetarian options: Signs around restaurant advertising vegetarian and vegan options but I have not tried either.Parking: Limited spots in lot off alley, but ample free street parking.

James Bishop: I live in the part of long beach where there is nothing but Mexican and Thai food restaurants so I've tried taco Tuesday at a different restaurant every week. My blackened fish taco, and blackened shrimp taco were the BEST. Well made, don't fall apart after 1st bite, excellent sauce, and not using all that other fillers like cabbage and cream fresh. They also have a well stocked sauce table, and outdoor dining.
