Panacea Holistic Institute: what do users think?

The Earthling: As an earthling - I feel loved, seen, heard and expressed at Panacea Holistic Institute. Thank you for being an inclusive space for healing 🖖

Matthew Anderson: what happens at panacea creates ripples into the world, through you and the way in which you show up in it. in being of service to the work, and igniting the healing from within us, it is so much more than a massage school, or a career college, yet it's all of those things, too. the instructors and students all come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, and are able to share their different skill sets in ways that are accessible, nurturing and understanding, to all and for all. another one of those unique and treasured community-based and driven offerings in long beach. my life has been enhanced and expanded in ways I didn't know were possible.

Braja Kishori: Panacea Holistic Institute is a hidden Long Beach gem. This bodywork & healing arts school provides everything a even a newbie to massage therapy would need to know in order to feel confident enough to begin their own business as a massage therapist straight after graduation. The faculty are seasoned and inspiring practitioners themselves, and the curriculum is top notch and cutting edge. 10/10.

anastasia klaffert: The 555 hour Bodywork + Healing Arts course offers me everything I've wanted to dive deeper into. The teachers are knowledgable and helpful. I never thought I would have time to complete a 7 month course while working but when I saw PHI offer Night School I knew it was time to set towards a more fulfilling career!

Jason Miller: Panacea Holistic Institute is a profound training in massage therapy and healing modalities. As an international instructor of holistic education for over ten years I encourage all interested parties to ignite healing within. The conscious business ethics, immersive curriculum, Kinesthetic learning environment and individual support within the school are setting a new bar for immerging practitioners’ success. Panacea Ignite Healing within and with All!

Calcopa Massage School: what do users think?

Martin B: I really can’t recommend this school highly enough. The small class sizes ensure very personal and individualized tuition. The staff are all highly experienced in their field, and passionate about sharing their knowledge. I would advise anyone considering massage therapy as a career to visit this school before choosing any of the competition.

Levi and Sydnie Williams: Great Environment to learn in. The instructors encourage you and give their knowledge and experience to you to build your practice.

Lesli DelR: If you're considering a career in Massage Therapy, please come to CALCOPA. This school has an outstanding program that will prepare you for the Massage Therapy profession. You will learn so much about the body systems, bones, and muscles, as well as various amazing massage techniques which will allow you to build credibility and loyalty with your clients. I am the owner of a spa business and I continue to use the tools and knowledge I gained at this school. As a result, my business is thriving and my client list is growing. If you're serious about learning and want to become a successful therapist, this is the school for you. If you're looking to get a quick certificate and don't want to invest too much time learning, then go somewhere else. This school is meant for future therapists who want to take their career seriously. Thank you Michelle and the entire staff for your time. Coming here was one of the best decisions I've made. I will be back for other electives.

Rebecca Henderson: I graduated from this school in 2009. I had my own successful massage practice and loved every minute. I went back to school and parlayed my massage career knowlwdge into an AA degree, went for a BA in psychology, a MEd in education and lastly a MS in counseling with a specialty in Clinical mental health! This school planted all the seeds of success and a passion for somatic psychology. When we have body, mind and spirit in place, we become truly unstopable, resilient and free. Thank you for what you do Calcopa, I love you!!

Sherryl Cm Conrad: Another visit to CalCopa yesterday with Celina, who is absolutely amazing! CalCopa is a great place, with great people and I try to make this, at least, a once a month venture. Thank you, Celina!!!

K.Nguyen Nguyen: . Everybody has their quirks as I am working here. The daytime here is like a Bootcamp, you get 5 hours a day of theory and practice, and it is a total of 5 days a week. If you can surf through the program of the day it's super awesome because you can graduate as soon as within 6 months. If you are overwhelmed and hard to catch up, Michelle would take her time to help you with test-taking skills improvement. The night class is going on a slower pace: 3 days a week with 4 hours each. If you are struggling financially, the office would also help you with financial aid enrollment, it is worth it.

Gilbert Orozco: Massage students attend this encouraging, resourceful, and affordable school because there's a sense of community. Small class sizes provide the opportunity for an aspiring massage therapist to absorb valuable information in any modality - Western or Eastern practices - by asking questions or be taught in a variety of methods until it makes sense. Nonetheless, learning the material can be challenging because of the variety of teaching styles provided by the instructors. You're encouraged to reveal your method of learning, and the instructors will do their best to accommodate, that's a big plus. When it comes to the learning environment, this school opens at least an hour early for those students who wish to catch up on reading, shower after a workout, meditate in quite rooms, or take a break from the outside world. CALCOPA although may look like it needs a modernized remodel; the coziness, nostalgic carpet, and easy-to-navigate hallways engender a state of security to learn and grow as a person. Beyond the course material, CALCOPA welcomes you to grow as a person because massage therapists must first take good care of themselves, and there are resources such as computers, exercise equipment, spiritual help books and instructors with a wealth of experience for an aspiring therapist to make the most of their tuition. The full-time schedule is fast, be prepared to do a lot of reading in the packet that the instructors hand out, and to use their library to understand the material. Don't fret about the quizzes. The instructors care for your education: you may re-take them until you pass. Also, stressing about taking or not passing quizzes/tests make it much harder, so it's best to take the quizzes/tests knowing what you know only. The rest will come. Enroll with a positive, friendly and optimistic attitude because you're making the right choice with CALCOPA. Once you're personally handed that certificate after your hard work, remember that you can return for discounted massages and will work outside of CALCOPA with an enormous feeling of accomplishment. You earn it here.

Marshall Tanaka: What I appreciated most about CALCOPA, is that they maintained an academic institution where I really got a good grasp of understanding the body. Many massage schools give you credits and pass you on to the next class without teaching much.

Elizabeth Parker: I recently was privileged to have a massage at the CalCopa Massage School. I had been having a lot of discomfort in one hip. I felt that my masseuse Michelle really knew what she was doing. She worked with my muscles and determined the problem, then made suggestions for stretches to do at home. I’m feeling so much better. I also got a tour of the school and was amazed at all that is going on there. They teach many different classes and even have a little shop with products such as lotions, ointments, teas and more. Give them a call and schedule an appointment. You won’t be disappointed.

Simone Paras: My time at CalCopa was a wonderful experience. The teachers and curriculum are extremely detailed and helpful, and they give you the tools to succeed. All of the staff and students have been kind. Admins worked with me for a payment schedule for classes. I learned what I needed to know in preparation for the Mblex, and working in the massage world, by going here, and every class I took has changed my life in some positive way.Besides scholastically, Calcopa is like a library, a home away from home. A welcoming environment and relaxing atmosphere. I still go for electives when I can. Strongly encourage anyone who wants to succeed as a therapist to come here

Stan Agbulos: The staff is excellent with the instruction delivered. I took the 500 hour course over 10 years ago and highly recommend this program, it’s great for those returning back to the workforce . Also great for college students who can set their own hours practicing massage. The curriculum is set up to be comprehensive yet easy to learn. Excellent instruction from Michelle and Celina, They truly care about your success in the Massage Therapy profession.Facilities are clean and open. Five stars all day long! From a price point for the tuition and the quality of the instruction/ curriculum, you will receive excellent value with any of the programs that you choose.

Jai Hudson: A massage school worth learning and excelling your art of massage. It's like coming in with an empty tool box and leaving with everything you wanted from Home Depot. There's a wide range of knowledge here and also a great amount of wisdom.

Liz Nguyen: I completed my 500 hour massage therapist license program in 2011 and I am very happy with my experience. The classes are small, the teachers are knowledgeable, and there are many opportunities to learn different modalities. What I love about CalCopa is that they treat you like family and no matter how long I have been away from school, I am always welcomed back without a doubt. Love my CalCopa training and staff and I highly recommend this school!

wendy jean: Talk about community; This place is my family, they gave me a lucrative career & a place to personally heal as I attended training. My mom & two sisters eventually became students and massage therapists, too! This school changed all our lives for the better♥️

Amanda Grable: Calcopa gives a more through education than other schools in the area, and better prepared therapists to work in the field. When I first got out of school my first manager was a therapist who was teaching oriented, he would always say I know they don't teach this in school, and give a piece of information. I always responded with yeah they do, finally he asked where I went to school I told him Calcopa and he responded Michelle and was like oh well other schools don't teach thatAs I worked with and became lead and trainer to people from other schools I would discover that they didn't have techniques to use on whole areas of the body, like the neck when the client is face up, or the glutes and Calcopa gives tons of techniques and has you practice them enough that you are confident to use them. The teachers are great and work hard to ensure that every student is comfortable with the information, certification is earned here not paid for. Classes are diverse and small enough to ensure everyone gets individual attention. Best part is it's a better value than other schools too.I now work at a 5 star resort making great money and my coworkers have 3-4xs the experience I do. This school will absolutely change your life.

Ashley: In 2021, I need to change my career path and decide to be a Massage therapist. Calcopa was one of a few schools open at the time. Worked with me as I paid for my classes. I worked full time and when to school. Some how I made it! I loved that it was always like family at Calcopa. You can ask any question. They always where able to help me if I missed a class. Makeup hrs are available. Just like all the other schools you can't miss more then a few hrs. Classes are very affordable. Unlike all the others schools. If I hadn't moved 70 miles away, I would come back!

Melinda Adams: Jumping into massage therapy was a huge leap for me, as it is for many people. Realizing a top rated school was near me gave me some confidence. This was a massively tough time in life, I had to choose a new career, among other difficulties. Speaking with Michelle and the other instructors gave me more confidence. I have to add that literally everyone in my personal circle thought becoming a massage therapist was a terrible idea. I was 100% swimming upstream. So what did I get out of an education at CalCopa? I have a career I’m proud of and believe in. It’s been 7 years since I graduated and my respect and love for what I do only grows. I have complete confidence that I chose the best school. Getting to know alumni from other schools has made me very happy with my choice. CalCopa’s teaching is technical, detailed and a lot of fun. After years of being employed as a massage therapist I’ve never found myself unprepared and that is thanks to CalCopa. What else? I make my own schedule and I support my family financially. That’s huge. I’m a single parent and I get to prioritize time with my kids because I’m an amazing massage therapist. And when my clients ask, how? How did I get so amazing? I tell them it’s because I have an amazing education. What else, you ask? When you go to work as a massage therapist, everyone is happy to see you. You will be the highlight of everyone’s day. People bring you gifts. They tell other people how amazing you are. It’s pretty great. You will be able to give people a moment to breathe in this hectic life, it’s an awesome feeling and you will get paid to do it. 10/10 highly recommend, and CalCopa is the best choice to get you there.

Hailey Hirata: I highly recommend CalCopa!! I graduated in 2012 and received an amazing education with practical skills I still use to this day. Instructors are excellent and they give you all the tools you need in the real world! Thank you, CalCopa!!
