4worldlovers: Ordered the beef plater combo with white sauce and boy was it yummy! Staff was very friendly and showed great hospitality. It was very clean and well organized and not to many people today. Will be visiting again.

Yummy food at great price. Vegetarian offering is very filling. Service is fast when you catch a short line (or no line, which is better). No code for the bathroom, which is very convenient.

My favorite take out place whenever I’m in Long Beach! My go to is the combo platter. Quick and easy, tastes great with their white sauce. Go for the red sauce if you love spicy!

I recommend this place to all service member and veterans. It’s too good!

I had medium platter with Rice, Slow Cooked Lamb, Cilantro, Onions, Parsley and In-house hot sauce. It was filled with butter and the flavour is amazing.

The lamb was exceptionally tasty as it was seasoned and cooked well!

Halal Guys is the kinda place that could become a household staple if they opened a few more stores and got a little more exposure. It's the Mediterranean Chipotle but twice as good.

Delicious food, friendly staff, and great hours of operation. I was so hungry at 10 pm on Saturday night and was craving Mediterranean food. Halal Guys was the only one open for miles and THANK GOODNESS they were. I was very happy with my chicken shawarma sandwich.

Any real NYer will tell you their Halal Guys experience standing in the freezing cold waiting in a 60 person line to get this stuff. Sometimes waiting an hour or longer. LA has no idea how lucky they have it to not have to wait outside for this food. It's just as good as I remember it and now that I know it's down the block from my employer I'll be there often. Stick to the basics, regular plate, all the meats, lots of white sauce. Beware the hot sauce is the hottest I've ever had in my life so try it before you put it all over your food! This is a limited menu and always has been.

I come here after the gym perfect post-workout meal I get the beef only chicken tends to be a little bit dry but still yummy. Make sure you get it fresh. These guys always hook it up fat so not disappointed at all

These guys are awesome and so is the food. I only had a couple of side dishes but it was perfect. The server didn't realize that he had missed charging me for one of the dishes but wouldn't take my money when I brought it to his attention. Thanks for being so hospitable.

This place is a gem. The food is delicious and the service was super fast. The mixed plate is the way to go.

Really big filling portions - got beef plate, tasted real nice and good. Reminded me of shawarma from many other places I’ve tried around the world. Not dry at all and gives you lots of sauce (on the side) add jalapeños, it will be better. Comes with cut up pita. Will def be ordering from here again :) good prices too
