Carmen Velez: Kickboxing class is amazing, Miss Trias is the best. And jiu-jitsu class with Mr. V is wonderful. This place is the perfect place to learn self defense!!!

My daughter has been a victim of bullying and me figgy and the whole power of one staff have become extended members of our family. Mr figgy especially has gone above and beyond for our daughter ñ. He is always there for us. Has been a mentor for our daughter and brings a certain light and energy to power of one that we can honestly say is what makes our daughters experience one of a kind. This dojo not only has built our daughters confidence but shown her discipline and been the motivation that we could not do for her. I never thought that enrolling him at the age of 6 he would have so much fun and would love going to class all the time. The instructors are so great to all the kids and they make it fun so that they are always interacting. I highly recommend this place to kids of all ages. 👍

Sean Evans: My son just started his lessons here. The instructors are very good with children, and I have been impressed with all he is learning.
kathy dumalski: My son, Helmut, started his karate journey with Z-ultimate 2 years ago as a 5-yo. The instructors are really great! Sensai Karla, S. Daniel, S. LaDarius, S. Troy - they are so personable with the kids. Helmut is now a blue belt. Last year he took home a 4th place trophy for his kata at the regional tournament. Helmut is looking forward to his next belt test and hopes to become a black belt in High School and maybe even instruct. The school offers online learning as well, and the group classes help re-enforce the skills learned in private lessons. Even during the pandemic they’ve made every effort to offer the same great teaching virtually, or outdoors when the air quality is good. More than karate is developed here. Respect and listening is a big part of the teachings as well. I highly recommend this dojo.

GiGi Milan: I must say, that I searched many studios for about one year with many disappointments, because I was searching for a Dojo. When I walked in I could feel the "peace" at Z ultimate. I love the respect that is taught there and the relationships that built there. Z Ultimate is not just a place to learn self defense, or to learn how much you can dish out to someone... it is a place where you can find who YOU really are, and improve yourself from there. I brought my daughter, shy, and fearful, and unsure of herself... and Z Ultimate Sensei's welcomed her with open arms..... and boy did it make a difference in how she felt about herself, and others. I more then appreciate them, my respect is great for them, and they are sorely missed... because I have moved to another area and am on the search once again... but my Sensei's at Long Beach Z Ultimate are top of the line in patience and in spirit every one of them....
