Ricardo The Realtor: The El Dorado Park Golf Course in the 90815 area of Long Beach is one of our favorite local places to play. We recently had a networking event there for a small group of Real Estate investors and we had a blast. Wish I could say that I played well but the fact remains is that we all had fun. The course is not expensive, they offer a driving range and bar/restaurant. We will definitely be back. If you are a Long Beach resident they do offer discounts/offers. FORE!
Rocky Duenes: Today, I had breakfast. It was a Denver Omelet with Hashbrown potatoes & Sourdough toast. It really hit the spot. They always take good care of us there, and it's very reasonable.

Roark Sandberg: Great round, nice breeze on 8/7/23, the Greens are soft, front punched, back 9 were not punched, but were slower with fluff. Bunkers were wet, hard with no sand. WERE IS THE SAND ?? Come on City Rec. DEPARTMENTS, SPEND THE MONEY ON THE COURSES!
JUNG PARK: Feels like a small park in the woodsI went to the LA1872 golf club over the weekend.It's quiet, and the fairway is in good condition.It was a pity that the day after tomorrow was not in the bunker.The greens were a bit disappointing.The battlefield is relatively short, so women are not burdened.There are also some challengers, so elaborate shots are required.I want to visit again next time

Anthony Alvarez: This is a really nice golf course. It is well maintained and the employees are extremely nice and helpful. There are carts here to rent which makes it easier and quicker to get around the course. What I really like is that the course gets an ocean breeze and it makes playing out on hot days more bearable. I also like that it has 4 drivable holes here compared to 2 at most other courses. I will definitely play here again.

Steve Bino: Straight forward executive course. Careful of the flock of geese camped out on the green for the 1st hole. The flock made themselves at home thru the first 3 tee boxes and greens and left big droppings as a reminder. Outside of that,had fun playing essentially a speed round. Started around 550 and finished by 715. I did skip the 3rd hole,a par 4,due to playing behind a group of 3/4. I saw some rental clubs at the pro shop counter but didn't see or ask price,but thought it would be nice to know the options available. They also have playback rates/options. Cool course that I'll be playing evenings again soon.

ashish pandya: It's a nice country club with a lake and a cozy reception hall. We had it booked for a wedding ceremony and reception. The only complaints I have are the terrace being a north-west facing leaving all of us cooking and sweaty in the relenting summer heat and half of us with the sun in our eyes. The inside decor was lovely, though, great opportunity for photos all around. Prices are reasonable.

Cody Guettler: Came in late around closing time hoping they may be able to change my grips. Not only did they have no issue with that but also stayed open late and talked about everything else I was doing and what I would need. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone whether you are experienced or not. They are extremely helpful and super friendly.

They regripped my clubs quickly and provided some excellent advice while I poked around the shop. Dawn is like an encyclopedia of golf! I ended up picking up a great set of vintage irons for a solid price. Eaton’s is worth the drive from anywhere in LA.

Michelle Omura-Olson: My son has been taking lessons from Troy for about a year and he’s been loving it! His swing is looking great and he’s hitting the ball consistently well. Troy is super patient and easy to get along with. Would highly recommend him if you’re looking for a golf instructor, both for kids and adults!
Floop: Troy Grant is an excellent golf teacher. We have been taking golf lessons with him for years and have had a great time learning how to play golf with Troy. He also teaches golf camps in the summer for kids and the camps are a lot of fun!

Dr. Blas Villalobos: I had zero golf experience when I first met Troy, and I was a bit apprehensive about taking golf lessons, but Troy has made it very enjoyable. After a few lessons, Troy has taught me the basics and has given me the tools to continue to improve my swing, but most importantly, I've realized I truly enjoy the sport. When I was ready to I invest in a good set of clubs, Troy met me at the shop and helped me choose the best set for me. Bernie B: I picked up a golf club for the 1st time a little over a year ago. After coming to the conclusion that I couldn't hit the ball 2x's out of ten swings I knew I needed help. I was then introduced to Troy. He's been helping me improve my swing and posture, while at the same time helping me realize that I don't need to swing for the fence each time to get the ball in play.If you're looking for a good coach that has LOTS of patience, knows how to make the game fun and interesting, and is truly a pretty cool guy to be around, Troy Grant is that coach.
Adam Horton: If you are looking for a great instructor in Southern California, I highly recommend giving Troy a call. I have been working with Troy for over a year now and I have made great strides in my game. I went from shooting in the high 90's and 100's to consistently low 80's and getting close to breaking 80, which would be a personal best for me! Troy doesn't try to break down your swing and start from scratch, he works with what you do well and makes little adjustments along the way that bring big results. His instruction is easy to follow and he makes it easy to apply for players of all skill levels. I never leave a lesson with Troy feeling lost or like I am not sure about what I just learned. I like that we will also do some on course training, which is always great practice before playing a round.
