Bixby Park Local Harvest Farmers Market: what do users think?

Xochil Barahona: Nice downtown location near scummy restrooms that I never use. Still my favorite farmers market since they have the best tamales. They also have the best Honduran coffee and a coconut based vendor that makes amazing skincare products. Plus, my favorite plant lady vendor is there!

Alex Omar: Absolutely love this farmers market! The Argentinian food is really good.

Laura Trent: Sort of small. . .but getting back in the swing of things since the pandemic.

Richard Sparks: A small market, but plenty of good fruit and veggies. Street parking so go early. A good sized playground for those so inclined. 3pm-7pm on Tuesday and 9am-1pm Saturdays.

DJfireant789plus: The smoothies, empanadas, and kettle corn are must haves.

Jhon Edison Urrego Rubio: You find everything you are looking for

Mike S (NotoriousOne): I went to the farmers market not alot of options on a Saturday. Was busy though. Lots of homeless during the week unfortunately.

Yilsa Menendez: Lots of selection! The pupusas from the trucks are 🤤 delicious!

Sara Wicht: Fresh produce weekly and an occasional cheese pupusa or fish taco for dinner.

Corina Guerra-Keys: This farmers market is right by an awesome playground!!!This review is long overdue. I love buying fruits and vegetables at this market. While the farmers may not have the money to get the organic status just talk to them they do not use pesticides. There’s tons of good premade food as well 💖🙏. I have loved this farmers market from the time my child was 9 months up to seven years old when we moved. It’s right by the playground that was nearest to our apartment. I bought my produce there weekly and my son would eat most of the berries right then at the playground. Since age 3 he loved the baguettes from the La Brea bakery bread stand, the little tiny cakes from the local cake makers, the pizza from the local pizza place and that ice cream that was Long Beach local as well. We had so much fun at so many different events from live music to plays to comedy. This is such a great farmers market.

William Shibley: Great farmers market. Good, friendly and knowledgeable farmers and other vendors.

Megan Sanders: Love it! Great local spot, good food, good vendors, best location.

Mohammad محمد Ashori: Solid! Easy parking and plenty of food options for those who like a meal. Got great prices on tomatoes and apples and avocados. Plenty of mushrooms and herbs too. Got a little chilly at night but nice to walk by the water.

Alexis Cowell (Alexis I Cowell): Awesome vegetarian tamales. My husband loves the sweet pecans. Food lovers dream.

Steve Lunn: This is a great farmers market. It's smaller but very good quality and the people running the stands are very friendly. Definitely go check it out.

Edith D: Just get to this lovely local event and support the musicians and all the vendors. Relax on the grass by the water under the trees!!

Joan Wang: The Farmer's Market had a wonderfully happy vibe with live music, a beautiful water view, and a grassy area for picnics and family fun. The produce offerings were not as abundant as the Saturday Long Beach Marina Farmer's Market but there were many prepared food stalls with a plethora of International and specialty choices such as Himalayan, Peruvian, Argentinian, Vegan, Rotisserie chicken, shakes/smoothies, bakery, crepes, shaved ice, and more. There were a few clothing and accessory vendors to round out the experience.Around 7:15ish the produce vendors start putting away a few things. The market closes at 8:00. Also, plenty of nearby street parking and plenty of cute dogs around to see.

Lori AV: Hit the jack pot!!! Very fresh healthy options traveling farmers market! 💕

Marion Montgomery: Small market with excellent produce, seasonal fruits and many prepared food stands. The tomatoes and peaches stand out now.

Marek Minecki: Not the biggest market but still has enough produce and specialty items to satisfy... and just fun to walk around and try stuff.

Armando Serrano: Gourmet Tamales are great!
