bestcontrollerplayer: The Golden Star restaurant was amazing. But the wait for the food was kinda slow, but i loved it. Because you were able to talk to somebody that went with you while you wait. But the wait is worth it, and eat the delicious food you order. And the inside was very nice and detailed with the walls, flooring, and furniture. So 5 stars for the restaurant!!!

Alex Lam: We arrived and saw that there was a long lineup. We put our name on the list. We decided to order take out to which Isabelle took our order. We sat outside to wait for it. Isabelle came out with our order and asked if we wanted restaurant utensils instead of the plastic cutlery, to which we were very impressed by. After the meal, Isabelle topped off my to go coffee. Overall excellent service by Isabelle!! Will come back again!!
Bob Slinker: We drove from orange county for a slice of fresh strawberry pie. Despite the awful 405 freeway traffic --- the pie was worth doing battle with the cars.PS. Don't forget the green chili turkey sandwich. ❤️😋Kid-friendliness: Lots of choices for the kids. The kids love 💗 the cookies.
Dan Curtin: Second time here. Didn’t disappoint. Had blueberry pancakes with two eggs over easy. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was great, sent to a back room which was quieter than the restaurant as a whole. If you can get that room, I highly recommend it.Vegetarian options: Veggie omelettes
Thomas Calvet: Local gem located in Bixby knolls area of Long Beach. Great food, good service, always busy at peak times.Parking: During the weekdays you can park in the church parking lot on the other side of the street.

I'm only back to try this place out again due to the Yelp Elite event taking place this week.Service: 7/10The gentleman today, Parker, was simply amazing and has the best attitude, friendly service and super funny personality. He deserves a 10/10 rating The owner needs to treat him right and keep him around. But I'm not sure how long that will be since the owner seems very inconsiderate. The owner decided to do a Yelp event and scheduled this guy by himself, so it took over 30-mins to get my order. If it was busy I would understand, but it wasn't. Totally not the employees fault but the owners for leaving one man to take orders, prepare the order, deliver the food and tend to customers. So due to the wait because of the owner not scheduling properly

Mark T: Ordered Nashville hot chicken and waffles. Large portion for a fair price. Chicken was crispy on the outside while extremely tender and juicy on the inside. Highly recommend!!!
