Awaze Ethio Fusion & Vegan Restaurant: what do users think?

thevivianray: Absolutely delicious food and super friendly staff!! So excited to have finally found amazing Ethiopian food close enough to us to come and eat regularly. It is on the second floor of a somewhat dilapidated business complex but don't let that turn you off. The minute you walk in it is sparkling clean, somebody greeted us immediately. He made recommendations on what to get and it was fantastic. It was pretty quiet on a Saturday night which made me sad because this place deserves to be packed!!Vegetarian options: Fantastic! But they also have meat so you can go with a bigger group and everybody will be happy!Kid-friendliness: I say they're created friendly but they won't provide mac and cheese or noodles with butter so they're limitations.

Lala Williams: I ordered the veggies combo, shiro wot, and ye mesir wot. Everything was absolutely delicious and was giving ! I'm definitely coming back when I'm in town.If you're looking for spice, ye mesir wot would be the best vegan/vegetarian option.

Lou Keaton: Very very very good food. I've had tons of Ethiopian food throughout the years and this is honestly some of the best I've ever had, perfectly seasoned and fresh tasting. We had the beef and veggie combo platter and everything was delicious. The place is clean and welcoming and the service was great too, you can tell the owners put their heart into this restaurant.

Sabrina Sondhi: . The owner, Abai, carefully confirmed that the giant sampler of food on the menu would all be safe for her. There were at least ten different meat and vegetable dishes, plus Abai brought us extra injera bread. A couple of dishes were a bit spicy for me

Andres Alvarado: Great customer service. Great authentic Ethiopian food. Definitely recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sagar Kalburgi: I ate the best Shiro wat ever in my life at this restaurant! I literally cleaned the dish, it was so delicious!!Wish I lived close to this restaurant. Thanks to the chefs for making such a masterpiece!Vegetarian options: Shiro wat, Misir wat

Tatiana Costa: the veggie combo special and the shorba

Nena Binokarms: First time here,My spiritual son brought me here for my birthday🙏💜.The food was was amazing!!!Vegetarian options: Vegan options

Tana Ethiopian Restaurant & Market: what do users think?

Alice Miles: We went here for our first experience with Ethiopian food and it was pretty positive. Everything tasted great, although we don't have other experiences to compare it to.The service was great, and the staff was friendly. Prices were reasonable and it didn't take a long time for food to come out. I'd suggest this place and look forward to trying more Ethiopian food to learn about this part of the culture

Los Angeles: Although only one lady worked by herself, she cooked, took orders, served, made coffee, and even came by to apologize for working by herself. The food was delicious. Doro Wat was not too spicy and tasty. Injera was a little cold, but she also made some new fresh ones, too. Coffee was excellent especially since the lady came by to let us smell the roasting beans in the roasting pan before being brewed. I had a vegetarian special, and it was very tasty. Vegetarian sambusa was good, too.

Abey Besha: The best Ethiopian restaurant in Orange county.

Ellie A.: Definitely some of the best Ethiopian food I have had! We had the vegetarian special and it was scrumptious. Also, I loved how spongy the injera was and how it was not too sour. I will definitely be returning.Dietary restrictions: Great for vegan/vegetarian and gluten-intolerant people.

Megan Pang-Robbins: ! The meat dishes were all so savory and there were also many tasty vegetarian options too. The service felt like you were in someone's home- very welcoming and comforting. It was wonderful!

Jenny Solis: Recommended dishes Sambusa, Vegetarian Special …

shaquitha simpson: 1-27-23 Today was my first time coming. Food was great. JUST GO TO THIS RESTAURANT AND ENJOY THE FOOD! It cost us a total of 89$ with tip included. 3 people.Just go and eat. You will be full & happy

Daniel Schneider: Delicious!

Diane Coleman: A family owned and run restaurant. What wonderful food!!! Went there with my guy friend to try Ethiopian food. He was very impressed! It was so good that we ate too much, and had extra to take home. We got the combination, which serves two or more, and allows you to try several items from the menu. We also got sambusas, and enjoyed a glass of Ethiopian wine. The food is served to be eaten with your hands using their unique bread, so you'll need a hand wipe before and after, which they'll provide on request. Plates and flatware may also be provided on request as well? They have meat and vegetarian choices. They're located in a mini mall, off the beaten path, but do go there with friends and relatives for a fun and delicious experience!

Peter Corley: Everything was delicious, the two ladies who served us were friendly and incredibly helpful, couldn't have gone out for a better lunch close to my work. But the best part was the coffee at the end. It might seem expensive when you look at the menu, however, well worth it. They freshly roast the beans and bring them out to your table, making you the center of attention in the restaurant, then grind them for some of them best coffee I've ever had at the end of a meal.

Sharmine Park: Love this place!

Toul L.: We ordered their Traditional Combo for two.It was delicious and very filling! A mix of colors and flavors, spices and freshness, served with of course the injera, a very airy traditional pancake, sourdough so slightly acidulous .The welcome was very friendly.

Emily Brennick: Oh my gosh, wow!! Just got home from an incredible dinner. The owner is such a sweet hospitable man. The food is incredible!! You can taste the care and quality in every bite.I had the Ethiopian honey wine which is served cold and bubbly and packs quite the punch. It’s not sweet like I was expecting, which I really enjoyed and preferred. We shared a veggie combo along with the number 1 from the lamb menu. Everything was so delicious and high quality. After speaking to the owner, he told us he is a chemist, which makes total sense! His food and flavors are articulated down to the molecules. He serves filtered water NOT tap water which is so rare at a little ma and pop place such as this. We felt very cared for and takes care of.The Ethiopian coffee is so good! They roast and grind the beans in house.Everything is amazingly curated and so much food and an overall very pleasant experience. I would eat here every week and am looking forward to our next visit. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Wendy Lopez: Wonderful Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant in OC! I’m so happy I found this place instead of having to drive to LA for some authentic Ethiopian food. We ordered the traditional combo for 2 and a plate of Awaze Tibs. It was very flavorful and had enough to take home. They also have a traditional coffee ceremony on Fridays at 6pm - get there early because it gets busy!

Fluffy Pusheen: The best by far. Super clean food with great customer service. You got to try the coffee.

Amrita Shadangi: The food is amazing and the owner after we have been a regular since a year has been very nice.

K Haile: Amazing food

Sumptuous African Restauarant long Beach: what do users think?

Kode: They have very good service and their fufu is really really good 👍🏾

Carey Littlefield: It's definitely one of the better African restaurants I've been to. The staff was very kind and cordial, and my companion that day was a newcomer to the cuisine in general, so there was a slight learning curve. It has a very rustic and home-like feel to the inside and is easily a place where you don't feel rushed out after eating. We ended up being there for nearly 2 hours because the atmosphere was so nice. I got the Egusi soup with goat meat, and it was incredible. If you get Fufu, use your hands! African food is meant to be eaten with your hands if you're able to! Also had the fried plantains and those were wonderful. Easily a 4/5, only criticism I had was that it took a bit to get our food, but any good restaurant will have time in front of it's dishes. 💯Parking: Parking is plentiful for the size of the restaurant. It had 4 spots, and there's a street adjacent to the restaurant around the corner that also has parking available.

Teresa Gouch: Each time I order the food, it is hot, fresh, and delicious.Parking: No hassle parking. The area is very decent.

Diane Reifka: Delicious! It's a simple order at the counter and they bring it to the table, but it's a nice clean little place. Staff is willing to explain what items are if you're not familiar with the cuisine. I asked about the order of the person in front of us, and discovered Moimoi, a sort of Nigerian tamale. It's my new favorite food 😋. Seasonings are wonderful, hence my original statement of "Delicious!".They also do takeout and delivery through Grub Hub I think. I highly recommend you give it a try!Parking: We didn't realize that the restaurant had a parking lot behind it, so my hubby and I parked a couple blocks away and walked. But when we were there, the lot looked fairly empty. Entrance is right next to the north side of the building, off of Atlantic.

Samara Khoei: This was my first time trying Fufu and egusi soup and it was amazing this location is very underrated definitely go try it the egusi soup was a little bit too spicy for me but it was still incredibly amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aneka Meade: Spinach fish soup was goood !! It’s a must try, staff was very friendly will visit again. Definitely cured my African food carve. 🙏🙏🙏

Stella Ademiluyi: The egusi soup with fufu was rich and flavorful 😋. Customer service could use some improvement.
