I've always had a fascination with sharp knives. One night, in late 2020, I was in bed reading a book on edge geometry and realized it was time to start helping others find the thrill of a sharp knife.

My standard service consists of sharpening on the 220 grit stone, grading up to 1000 grit, and finishing with a hone and a hand wash. After washing and drying the knife, I place your knife in its sheath or a cardboard sheath cut to length. Most knives will be eligible for this service, with the exception of speciality knives (ex. a single bevel Japanese knife).

My deluxe service includes everything in standard service, but I will grade up to 4000 grit for a mirror finish. This is the service reccomended for your standard high-end knives, or if you would like a different angle bevel on your blade. I offer services of repair and sharpening of speciality knives on a knife by knife basis. I can reshape and reprofile blades, repair major chips and broken tips. Reach out to me with an image of your knife so I can see if I can help with your blade needs!

I start your knife off with a 220 grit grind to clean it and set the angle, then grade up to 1000 grits before honing the blade to remove the burr (the almost microscopic roll of the edge created during sharpening). I then handwash the knife and prepare it to return to its owner.
