This will save the backbreaking work of painting it once it’s installed. HINT #2: Floor installation in a VERY loud process, so if you live in an attached home, like our townhouse, be sure to amply warn your neighbors and bake them some cookies. PS; I was in Lowe’s recently and I saw the very nice floor guy whose installers turned down my job. I showed him some pictures of the job Family Floors did and he said he’d recommend them!

They ordered samples for me which were delivered the next day. Karen Tufnell: The owner came to measure the area exactly right and offered sound advice when asked about details of the carpets and specific areas I wanted replaced. The installers were at my house exactly on time, and they stayed hours installing more than half the job as I asked: moving furniture, removing carpeting, screwing down squeaky floor boards, installing the thick padding and carpets. We asked that the rest of the job be done a few days later and just as before they were there right on time and job was done including specialty area rugs that had been cut and bound exactly as needed. I recommend this company highly.

Russ Tolman: Originally, we were going have installation by Home Depot as we had had a couple good experiences with them installing countertops. However, while the in-store experience with the HD was great, the estimate scheduling, etc for flooring was a bureaucratic mess conducted by people who did not care. Thanks goodness for B&B. We had an outstanding experience with B&B from when we first entered their showroom to pick our floor to the completion of our vinyl plank installation. We hate quarter rounds so it was a challenge for installers Efram and his sons to fit the planks under our kitchen island and cabinetry. But they did an excellent job and they also very mindful of the patterns in planks so that similar planks were not laid near each other. The floor looks great and the price was very reasonable.
