Tammie Hjelmstad: We were there in July and the lady working was awesome! We bought 6 bottles and had them shipped home to North Dakota. We are drinking the Zinfandel tonight. It is very good!

Joseph Glynn: Hands down the finest winery I have ever attended. After sampling, the quality of wines being produced, I immediately signed up for a membership at the first opportunity. The membership is free, and all you have to do is commit to buying 3 bottles per quarter at a 20% discount. All other purchases are 20% off, and you may have a free glass of wine per week. The patrons here are wonderful to talk to and some of the best conversations I've had in such a long time. The owners are genuine and honest and just really great people. Look forward to seeing you all there.
Francis Rivera: Bar none one of the best local wineries in the AV. Crowd is cool, wines fantastic and hosts are always fun!
Lino Stavole: Love this place! The wine is made by true artists. The winemakers are fun and super interesting.

Don Taylor: My Wife and I spent a wonderful afternoon here. We met the winery owners Nicole and Stephen. They are Great hosts! We sampled I believe all his wines! Our favorites are the Roussanne 2017 and the Cabernet Sauvignon 2020. Shout out to Nicoletta who did the pouring and recommended an awesome place for dinner. This needs to be a stop if you are in the area!

Johana Aleman: Great vineyard to visit. We were in Los Ángeles for vacation with kids and were looking for a winery to visit. So happy we came across Golden star! Wine was amazing and service was even better! DEFINITELY recommend.
Crystal: This was a wine tasting experience you just have to experience for yourself. The ambiance was just perfect to set the mood. Live music with Vivienne, wine, cheese and crackers available, and a self guided walks through the vineyards. A beautiful mountain view outside with seating. Kirk is amazing.

Lauren McClive: Whether it’s going in for a flight or tasting or picking up a full case of Chardonnay, I love going to Golden Star. Lee & Helen are the sweetest hosts and make everyone feel really welcome.They have live music many weekends and I absolutely love the comfortable casual vibe. I also like how you can bring your own food to eat while you’re there - so sometimes we’ll sit outside and eat or at the tables inside. There’s plenty of room indoors and outdoors.We’ve brought a few couples with us on different occasions to do the wine tasting and we are members - so we get a quarterly set of a few bottles. Everything is delicious - The Chardonnay is my favorite!

Lee and Helen are the kindest and most generous people. After a few years of belonging to the wine club, their wines are better than ever. Winemaking at its best. Reds and whites are award winners.

Terry Robertson: Awesome vineyard and wine tasting room. Best in the Antelope Valley! Very good wines with a large selection to choose from. I can not even start to tell you how great the owners are. Lee and Helen take the time to explain each of their wines, to guide you in finding the perfect wine for you. I highly suggest a wine tasting so you can try all their great wines!

Robyn Yacoub: I love, love, LOVE this place. The owners Lee and his wife are the cool, chill, happy people you want to come back to visit. The atmosphere is inviting. The music is awesome and when it’s hot out side, its soooo cool inside here. The wine is phenomenal!! This is definitely a very cool local spot for us. However if you want to go wine tasting and want to enjoy yourself out of town. Stop here for sure. And tell them I sent ya!!
