4worldlovers: Awesome, but they need donations of money and food for the animals. This is a great place. But like others that are dealing with the pandemic they also need volunteers to help take care of the animals. The owner is 70 years old and doing what she can,but as a community there are many other things that can be done to help. Adoptions are also a great way to help also.

Great! Lorraine the lady who runs it is Super Great! She love the horses nad takes excellent care of them. She also has a mother pig and babes and a family of goats as well. All the animals are very well taken care of. She runs the rescue with care and love.

We had some stray cats keep coming into our yard, unfortunately one had kittens before we get her spayed. Someone recommended The Frank and Lucy Project. I contacted them and they immediately called me back and said to bring them over. I caught all 4, brought them in their house (which was super clean and odor free, you'd never know they had multiple cats!) The kittens were immediately vaccinated and taken care of. Jodi helped me get an immediate appointment for the mom cat to be spayed. I cannot say enough good things about them!

Frank was an incredible help and guide during the rehoming of a friendly feral cat my wife and I had been taking care of! Though she wasn’t rehomed the way either of us thought she would have been, she’s in a new home and so happy for it! Highly recommend The Frank & Lucy Project, incredibly selfless and amazing!

Wild at Heart Horse Rescue is a non-profit horse rescue and transition center located in Lancaster, CA and has been committed to serving the equine community since 2017. We are a rescue specializing in rehabilitating, re-training and rehoming owner surrendered horses and transitioning these horses through specialized care and training for a new job and a new home.
