Sarah Hodgson: I am used to an eye exam taking 10-12 minutes max at Costco. This annual exam took about an hour and 15 minutes. Longer than what I was planning on but Dr Israel knows his stuff and takes his time to make sure if there is a change in your prescription, he wants to get it exactly right. I really appreciate that kind of attention to detail and was happy with the results of my appointment in his office.

The entire experience was very enjoyable. you can tell when you walk in that there is a unity with the staff and they all enjoy working there, which is good because that means you will have a pleasant experience. Everyone was very polite, respectful and kind. I had a blast with Viviana, her customer care is next to none. she made me feel so comfortable. I can honestly say I have never found an optical center or optometrist that has made me literally feel like I'm at home. I will definitely always get my glasses and contacts here. Not to mention the top of the line imaging of the eye without the after affects of having your pupils dilated. We will be bringing the entire family back.. my 6yr old is excited and looking forward to the experience and really liked Dr. Kim as well.. Thank you guys for the awesome experience.

In fact, Dr. Kim and the staff at LensCrafters were so delightful I felt like I wanted to stay after my appointment and keep chatting. The only thing I could say that I wish I knew was the end price. I was told over the phone that my exam would be $74 and did not know until I was in an exam room that there was another charge for the actual fitting of contacts. If you’re looking for constructive feedback, that would have just been nice to know. Other than that, everything was wonderful. An office full of friendly fantastic people.

Which is WHY we chose to not use the office covered by our Health pln and made the choice to obtain the very best care possible. A clean office and surgical center that is staffed by wonderful people. What else could I have needed? I do and have recommended this practice to all those who ask where I chose to care for my eyes.
Ed K: I made an appointment with Dr. Opatowsky at Antelope Valley Eye Care to have my right eye examined for a cataract. He examined both eyes and we talked about the left eye as well, which needed lasered. My left eye had a cataract removed with a different doctor but my vision was still blurry. So, before leaving I made appointments for both eyes. A week later Dr. Opatowsky lasered my left eye to clear my vision at the Envision Surgery Center and the actual laser process took about 10 seconds. It was a miracle. I could see clearly and played golf the next day. I went back to the Envision Surgery Center a few weeks later to have the right eye cataract successfully removed. Dr. Opatowsky, the Antelope Valley Eye Care Team, and the Envision Surgery Center Team handled me with care and they will handle you with care too. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone, it really was a pleasure to talk with everyone, they all are very well organized, they all are patient focused with a “won’t fail” mentality. The equipment and technology used was state of the art. Both of my eyes see clearly now! Dr. Opatowsky is one of the best doctors on the planet, we are lucky to have him in the Antelope Valley. He makes the world a better place.

Laurie Dame: Dr Ira is very competent, professional and caring. I have seen him several times over the years. He is busy, and it can be hard to get in, but that shows how popular he is. It is sad to see reviews over what sounds like miss understandings with the staff. To me, what is most important is if you get competent, quality, medical care. ESPECIALLY when you are talking about your eye sight!My first visit about 10 years ago was an emergency as I got glass in my eye. He made time for me that day, right away. He took care of my eye without any lasting problems.A couple years ago I went to another local doctor to have cataract surgery as they could fit me in before the end of the year. BIG mistake! They seemed nice but it turned out that they intentionally made one eye near sighted and one eye far sighted which I had specifically told them I DID NOT want. Then when my vision was not right after the surgery they said it must have been my fault as I must have made the new lense move. Months later when I went back to Dr. Ira he explained that the prescription was different in each eye and it would have been extremely difficult for me to have made it move. Thus the other doctor did that intentially but they chose to blame their mistake on me!About a year ago I noticed one eye getting foggy. Dr. Ira said that a film had grown over that eye and it was common with caterat surgery and easy to fix. He did an outpatient procedure where he lazared it and it only took about 20-30 seconds. He was done before I even knew he had started. You can trust your eyecare to Dr. Ira Opatowsky.

Carla Harlow: This office is outstanding. Teresa and Noemi at the front desk are helpful with my questions and sweet. The staff in the back are very helpful and answer questions and make you feel like their happy to see you. Dr. Shabatian is out standing as well. I went to Dr. BEESLEY for years and when he retired it's hard to change drs. But Dr. Shabatian is exceptional and easy to talk to. Made me better without surgery. LANCASTER EYE INSTITUTE in Lancaster is a great office for anyone needing a great experienced Ophthalmologist.

The staff at Dr. Shabatian's office was also helpful and considerate of my needs. My surgery was on January 18, 2023. The surgery was painless. I was scheduled for a follow-up appointment the next day. I followed the instructions. My vision is now 20/20. It was the best decision I ever made.

Jeremy Fleshman: I went in for an appointment with Dr. Tran to see about Lasik surgery. She did a significant amount of testing and mapping of each eye, using some pretty cool and modern technology. I was able to work with her and schedule my Lasik with Dr. Shabatian. Great service, reasonable pricing, advanced technology and a caring group of individuals, what more can I say. Over a month since my procedure and crystal clear without any glasses, normal or reading! Fantastic!!
