Western Hotel Museum: what do users think?

hussam alzubi: nice amazing great unique professional idealism

b2rian lopez: were so impressive! Each room in the building demonstrates a little bit about what life was like decades ago- from the flora & fauna, the natives that lived here, to the railroads and mining industries, and the local dairies of the early 20th century... this is a place you gotta visit if you want to learn-about and appreciate The AV's history. Plus the docents are so friendly, helpful, and answered my questions with their extensive knowledge. If you've visited places like the Whaley House in San Diego, or the Homestead Museum in La Puente, this is another historical home of SoCal you would love!

Al Briones: The gentleman behind the desk was very nice and loved telling the story of the hotel. But he wasn't aware of any ghost stories at the hotel

Sabrina Nord: Nice quick walk through to get the history of the place.

Erica Cunningham: We only spent one night here, but it was very nice. We had breakfast, make your own waffle, there was eggs and sausage patties and an over-all hoping selection of breakfast foods. The staff was friendly. The room was nice. Just a great experience up our otherwise hectic travel/move lol.

George Mouchet: Great little museum. The oldest building in Lancaster. Had a genealogy library inside too!

JustHavingFun: It's open on saturdays. I was able to look around but they're still renovating the place so the upstairs is closed to the public. Only one bedroom was staged, with historic items, for viewing

Ezequiel “Zeke” Barragan: . Looked very neat, is very small.

alexa morley: Sadly this well kept building from a bygone age is not open very often. I am not sure if they operate on city funds or donations but when they ARE open people are welcome to look around the small rooms with historic items and memorabilia. Perhaps try calling the city office to see what days they might be open because just showing up will lead to locked doors most of the month.

Hughes Saloon: what do users think?

Your MAJESTY: Built by the 2nd cousin of the late Howard Hughes. After being robbed by the townspeople of Lancaster and cast out from the city, this shack was inhabited by the eccentric cousin of Howard Hughes for a short time before her journey across America...........And then a Jeaulous madman demolished it months before the surrounding area caught fire and burnt........ And now there's nothing left but memories of the old Saloon. Kinda like the nearby Happy Bottom Riding Club, home of Pancho Barnes.

Your Majesty Of AV: This place was pretty neat until the tweekers moved in and tore it up. Looks like some madman tore the place down during the pandemic. What a shame. ...and the traffic is getting heavier.

John Ballew: Good Rattle snake Hunting
